Default [Not a Bug] Logging :: Store Database Queries

    Hello,

Are there any plans for the "Store Database Queries" option to work in the new 1.4? My admin just goes so slow and if I could tell what queries were going on that might be causing it to go so slow I could make adjustments based on that information.

    Thank you!

Um, why are you filing this as a "bug report"? Are you saying that the Store Database Queries option isn't logging anything? Or are you trying to say that your store's slowness is a bug of some sort?

Yes, right now if I were to turn the Database Query logging on then no queries would be saved. .... Bug Report.

    Thank you!

Then you probably have bad permissions set on your /cache folder, since that's where the queries get stored.
I just turned it on in a clean uncustomized install of 1.3.8a a moment ago, and immediately I got query log files in my /cache folder. I don't see a bug.

    Thanks DrByte,

I will look into my permissions on the folder and try again.
