additional images not showing up

I have installed IH2 and have uploaded additional images to a particular item by using the "new file" button in IH Manager. The additional pics are showing up in the IH Manager for the item, but when I view the item web page, no additional images are showing up. I looked at the source code and no additional images are being called at all. ?????? I check my layout settings to made sure additional images were set to true. I'm not sure what else to do.

Okay, I think I figured the problem out. The original file was actually gif, while the additional images were jpg.

When you reformatted the files to the same extension, i.e. jpg/gif, did the additional image show up? i am also having same problem.

Yes, it works for me now after having tried it, thanks! main images and additional images have got to have same extension.
