Blank screens on install

Fresh clean install. the actual installation seemed to proceed without a flaw but then neither the front end nor admin work. Just a blank screen on both locations. There are no plugins installed yet as this is a new install and have never had any admin access. Clean virgin install:smile:

Installed files via cPanel per setup suggestions.
Uploaded zip file via WsFTP

[SOLVED] it was the PHP set to 8.1. I lowered to 8.0 and it works.

That may be, but it, Zen cart 1.5.8 should be able to be installed with at least php 8.1... does it still work now that it has been installed?
Was 1.5.8, 1.5.8a, or the latest files on the v158 github branch used?

Also are you now aware of where to find debug logs when the system responds the way it did? E.g. logs folder.
