EXACTLY!! I took and page from his playbook, and followed the same path in my own "freemium" mods/plugins offerings..
First of all, I have chosen not to incorporate the changes into the github version of EP4 when I have provided the other updates that I have made to keep EP4 functional with ZC, but I have attempted to share the existence of it without violating forum policy (discussion of this aspect is above and need not be readdressed). There is one feature that I have incorporated there, but not yet into here which I plan to include in an upcoming change but I also have independent priorities to consider.
The minor functionality difference is the assignment/determination of the admin folder path for the generated files instead of using the store folder when setting up EP4. Might even take it a step further to create the directory if it doesn't exist, and if it does exist to attempt to identify an alternate... Not sure how far I want to go with that aspect, though not a fan of folders just being generated outside of the direct control of the installer. Perhaps a series of questions and answers could be incorporated to support the autofolder creation, but for the time being I believe there are bigger fish to fry. The instructions already suggest to use the admin folder, so why not (though perhaps not previously coded/considered) have the default go to the admin folder? (In my opinion it is minor, but possible.) Also I think that the ability to autocreate model numbers should be considered in this module at least for model numbers not yet assigned. Then of course a way to change model numbers for a product. New users of this plugin may not already have model numbers assigned, or perhaps they have the same model number applied to multiple products. This change would make it easier to incorporate EP4 into an existing store.
Sure could add notifiers into the EP4 code, which may expand its capabilities for other modifications; however, I haven't evaluated using them here which would likely require sprucing up the code to cleanly support them and their placement.

Sorry.. I'm confused because you are still being cryptic (unnecessarily) here.. Are you saying that you have a COMMERCIAL solution for EP4 which supports those who use Ceon URI and would like to use EP4 to upload our URIs to the URI table in ADDITION to using EP4 to upload our products and categories??? Not asking for details here.. just a yes or no.. Answering this question is NOT a forum policy violation.. It will give anyone reading this a STRAIGHT answer though..

By COMMERCIAL of asking a small fee, I have available a solution described as:

...adds the capability to export products, categories, and EZ-Pages from your store, and select from a few highly desired options:
###### 1) automatically populate the database with URIs for all that have not yet been assigned.
###### 2) refresh/populate the database for URIs that have already been assigned something, but are not the default as rewritten.
###### 3) automatically update the database with all of the URIs that would be generated as if from scratch.
###### 4) export the generated record, but do not actually change the database.
###### To be incorporated if considered necessary:
###### 5) change the database but do not export the record.
###### 6) do not change the records and do not export the information.
All of these are performed using the same original philosophy, any change to a URI updates the old one to be "inactive" with the new one to be the visible result. The big difference here is that you can populate your database with products, then export the list and have quick and easy URIs populated automatically from new data or from an existing store and would like to transition to the URIs offered by CEON URI (SEO) Mapping.
Currently applicable to products, categories, and EZ-pages only. I have not completed the manufacturers update and am still working on a, preferably user friendly (with focus on not accidentally/unexpectedly changing the uris), way of uploading unique/individual URIs.
Available by following the link in my signature.

At the time, yes I was referring to Apsona; however, it is not considered (as far as I know) to truly be a "variant" of EasyPopulate but a completely different (free) product (though requires registration). I guess at the time I was trying to maintain that Apsona is an alternative to any version of EasyPopulate that performs similar/related functions, and could have used its name, but that "sentence" was long enough... :)

That's why I asked.. because you are right.. Apsona is NOT a variant of EP4 as much as it is a product in the same space as EP4.

Re: EasyPopulate 4.0 Support Thread
I'm trying to set custom fields for MAP, but this does not exist:
Configuration->Easy Populate 4
I tried uninstalling but the uninstall link does nothing. The page just re-loads. Cart is 1.5.4 with Easy Populate 4.0.28
I uploaded the plugin files again, but get the same results. :dontgetit

Hate to ask, but since not identified in above post, was the install link clicked that is in the top of the reloaded page?

No install link exists...before or after clicking uninstall.

Any associated error logs? (Logs folder of store.)
