    I know this is an old thread, but I have a fairly new zen cart that I have been working my cojones off on for about 3 months now. I just yesterday decided to enable USPS shipping to handle international shipments and came up against the same thing you all have. I wanted to personally thank Linda for her medal of honor worthy support. I did a google search on the issue, found this thread, and voila, up and running in no time. I would have been completely hosed without this person's support, so THANK YOU LINDA!

    So is this all I have to do is load up this new version? I can't change code worth a darn so I'm hoping for an upload and fixed!

    Yes, that is all you have to do. I would recommend first renaming your file to:

    usps.php.bak

    in case there is something peculiar to your configuration that prevents its' working, that way you will have a backup of your original shipping module, but yes, just upload this file and then go into your admin area and configure it. Works like a charm.

    It would be better to use your initials rather than .bak or .old.
    .bak and .old files found on a server could cause a failed PCI compliance survey AND, if you make it a habit or your editor makes it a habit, hackers can access .bak files and get any information contained in them.

    Thanks for the input, I was just being a dumb*SS and doing what the tech support people at my hosting company do. I'm not surprised to know that, once again, they have failed the standards test...

    I've often said, "You can have a PHD in keyboard, and not know a darn thing about the mouse."
    Just another reason that the cost of certified hosting may just be worth the money. We are a PCI Compliant host specializing in Zen Cart which means we regularly fight the battle for compliance. That includes educating all our customers whenever we find a new, helpful item.

    I am also receiving this error on two different carts.

    We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
    If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
    (Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

    I am running v1.3.9h

    I see there are a few different fixes for this issue. can anyone tell me which fix works for the version of zen cart I am running.
