    Default HELP with Zone Rate

I have set up Zone Rate Shipping and now am encountering a problem. When a NEW customer places an order, fills out shipping info and hits SUBMIT an error is displayed.

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Then if the customers LOGs OFF and LOGs IN again with e-mail and password - all works fine.

Has anyone else had this problem?

    I'm using Zen Cart 139h
    Fast and Easy Checkout.

After checking with my web host and going over all files, the error seems to be with Fast And Easy Checkout and using Zone Rates for shipping. If I disable FEC problem goes away OR if I disable Zone Rates and use Flat Rate problem goes away. FEC support thread seems to be inactive so I'm not sure how to fix this problem.

    Try this:

Go to the zone rates shipping module in Admin >>> modules >>> shipping

    Open it for editing.

copy and paste all your rates (into notepad) for the zones you have operational. (You will need to "re-paste" these later, so in your notepad file, identify which line of rates applies to which zone).

    Then REMOVE the module.

    Then INSTALL the module.

Then, (using the info in your notepad file) re-paste your rates into the appropriate zone fields.

    See if this works.

Sometimes, these conflicts are resolved by cleaning out the fields in the database. You do this "cleaning" by REMOVING the module.

When you INSTALL it again, you start "a-fresh" - but if you didn't make a copy of all your rates values, you have to manually enter them all again. So that is why I suggest you make a "notepad copy" of your rates values first... easier to re-paste them from the notepad file than it is to re-enter them manually.

Thanks for the reply, but I found the problem and it was twofold. First I had two copies of the same file for FEC and they were conflicting. Second after talking to the folks at Numinix I set my payment modules to 1 and 2 instead of 10 and 20, and now everything works OK. Seems that FEC doesn't like zeros in the payment modules sort order??.
