Adding a new option name to all products

Is this possible? Maybe by option name ID number?

With 1.5.8, you can try https://docs.zen-cart.com/user/admin...-or-categories by setting up a dummy product with just that option name and adding it to each category.

BACKUP and be mindful of the settings so you don't remove something already on some other product.

Don't have a test up now for 1.5.7# but the docs say it should work for older versions.

There are multiple tools to just about cover any method of bulk copying of names and attributes/values but they are in disparate places.
Read carefully the global options in Option Name Manager and Option Values Manager, in addition to the Attributes Controller->Additional Actions.

But, test locally first...since they are not normally in daily use, there may be new problems due to php updates not yet detected.
