    Default product deletions

A customer had trouble deleting products. I think i figured out that one needs to check the named category box. That may make sense if you have the product cross listed in other categories but it really makes no sense if it's only in one place. If you do the deletion without checking the category box, it acts like it was deleted by returning to the category - very deceptive. So was this intentional?

I have no admin mods installed.

Oof, that may have been a bit confusing. When you don't check the category box when there is only one category, it looks like it deletes but does not delete at all. No message, no action leading the admin to believe it's been deleted.

The Delete infobox lists all the categories in which the product may be linked.
    There may be many.

Selecting those categories allows selective unlinking of the product from those categories.

However the master category is highlighted in red and is also unticked on purpose to prevent accidental deletion (not unlinking), which could be a disaster for some users.

You are suggesting that the Delete button should just delete, period, with no safeguard.

I would suggest that perhaps the Delete button should be disabled if no categories are selected to highlight that this requires an additional action.
