Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

This is strange... I have checked the files and it appears the the FTP software I'm using may not of uploaded ALL the files?! I'm using SmartFTP.

The problem is also with this listing: http://www.badluckclothing.co.uk/ind...products_id=17

I used my hosting own webFTP and I got 2 LRG images uploaded ok, but then 2 that havent! - so I'm now wondering if it is a problem with zencart/lightbox or my FTP connection/software.

For many reasons, mostly related to your Internet connection and/or the Hosting company, files will fail to upload regardless of what method is used. This also applies to a File Mgr. / Upload feature provided by your Hoster.

That is why it's important to use an FTP program that will tell you when upload/downloads fail.

As to exactly "why" they fail, well, let's chalk it up to one of the mysteries of Life.

When I click on the image to get the larger.. the image shows up at the bottom of my page and creates a huge amount of space between the content and the image. I have to actually scroll down through empty space to seen the image.

Just to let you all know I have solved my problem.
After having a little think I remembered A problem I had using Lightbox on a non ZC site.
my images were named correctly, andall had uploaded correctly, the problem was my LRG files were all saved with the jpg extension in uppercase, i.e. JPG. Making these all lowercase solved the problem. I remembere that the lightbox plugin dosen't like uppercase extensions.

I installed Zen Lightbox and switched this functionality on, and this part works like a dream... However the old/original popup image still remains on the product pages. See example:

Has anyone any idea how I can switch the old popup off without wrecking the lightbox?
Also oddly enough, there is just one product that doesn't show the second, unwanted popup box:

Your links are not quite right I'm afraid. Can you repost them??

I did try and guess your shops directory and I came across an oscommerce shop, and alarmingly an installation page, which is pretty dangerous.

I think it would be best to rename or best to delete any unwanted directories.

Hello! I'd appreciate any help with this. I'm sure it's been answered before but I can't find anything to help me out.

I installed zenLightBox and it's working absolutely beautifully! Except that I can't seem to get it out from under my CSS menu. I'm using this menu in my header. I followed the directions for wrapping it in the div tag, but it doesn't seem to be working out for me. The address is http://www.homiciderocker.com/zencart/. I am not using ImageHandler.

Hi I have recently installed the latest version of lightbox especially as it is great for multiple images viewing.

Unfortunately I am having a similar problem to a previous poster which is as yet unanswered.. my extra images load automatically and use the lightbox effect, but the original product photo still opens in a popup box..I have cleared my cache, etc to load the proper page but still have not resolved the problem....
