Ok, I sorted my lightbox :) Yipee!

I basically went into phpmyadmin and did it from there. But it would not work inserting the statement in one go so I had to do it in pieces.

great!!, that is what everyone needs to do ad the "zen" or whatever their database prefix is to the proper sections.

Just make sure that when you delete the previous upload you make sure you have no more than one entry in admin section after reuploading the files.

That was actually one of the things I had to do was remove the entry in phpmyadmin from the database...

For those who need to know you can find the entry in 'configuration_group > configuration_group_title

I just deleted the many entries for lightbox (loadza entries from trying so many times) and then entered it again so only had one using this statement...

SELECT @cgi := `configuration_group_id` FROM `configuration_group` WHERE `configuration_group_title` = 'Zen Lightbox';

(you may need to add your database prefix to 'configuration_group' so it looks something like 'zen_configuration_group'

A bit of persistance and know-how that I picked up on this forum came in very handy ;)

another thing when uploading items for this mod:

make sure you have installed the files that are to go into your themes folder into it.

like this one that goes directly into the theme folder

go to the theme you are using and make sure this is the one that is in there...not being in there will let the default take over:

tpl_modules_main_product_image.php

comparing them side by side you will see that this has the lightbox coding and not the original one.

If you do not have a set theme fodler in the places it specifies then you will need to create one to plop the files into for the lightbox to work.

I have recently installed version 1.38a
I loaded Imagehandler2 and that worked fine.
On loading Zen Lightbox the hover feature to produce large images has stopped working.
Any advise on how to fix?

Hover action? I am sorry tis a great feature and would love to have it but my lightbox never had that feature...it allows you to click the image to get the lightbox larger one.

I have seen the hover on many stores and now see it must be that imagehandler mod you installed.

Maybe the two together do not play well at all....my guess anyway, my sight uses GD2 to handle images of any kind

I have zenlightbox installed (in fact it is laghtbox gallery, but I think it is the same) and image handler 2 (installed after zenlightbox) and both work fine together !

I have a question... I have seen on some store that when clicking on the product image, of course, the lightbox is opening, and there is additonnal images in it, that we can see using the next/prev buttons, as if there wwhere a "gallery of multiples product images " for one product...
Anyone know how I can make this for my store?

(I have image handler2 to have additonnal images under the description of the products, but I'd prefer to have additionnal image only in the lightbox..)

If you open the zip holding the lightbox files there should be a file in there with the instructions of what is needed. I finally figured out since I do not have mine named right is why mine does not do that...but I got lightbox after I had a lot of items and was just too lazy to rename all the others...lol

Thnak you for all, but, I know how to have additional image in my products, but they are displaying after my description product, not in the lightbox... that's why I asked if I needed to do something else more...

that is why i said to open the zip and look over the instruction files...there is the additional info to get what you need to do...not just about adding images.
