This is handled through your Google Merchant Center account not your regular Google account.

Go to www.google.com/merchants and create an account if you don't have already. Once logged in on the left side you'll see few options in the middle you'll see Settings. Click on that and then you can see FTP and all the other settings you may need.
Cheers!
Apologies if I don't explain this well.
I have got as far in installing as going to admin and clicking confirm to get a product feed.
The name of the product feed is different to the one I put in this sites googlebase account, so I tried to change it in Gbase to the name of the feed in admin. But, it is the same feed name as for my other site, and it won't let me have the same name![]()
What do I need to change where to get a different name please? If anyone can help I would be greatful.
How odd, I clicked on upload, and the box came up as a successful upload, but it isn't, the feed isn't in that googlebase account, no products even pending, and it hasn't overwritten the other websites feed (the one witht he same name) either. Even more confused now.....sorry, found it, in admin configuration output file APOLOGIES

After creating and Uploading a Product Feed in Zen Admin, I look in Google Merchant Center and am NOT seeing the data feed uploads? Where shoudl I be checking that the feeds did upload?
The feed was created and the upload reproted successful.
Also, the ftp site: FTP root at uploads.google.com, is empty ??
normally, 12-24 hours is for the feed to go live after approval... Is you feed name the same as what you told Google? Did you create the feed in Google first? I have mine placed into a feed folder on my site. I downloaded that file and then did a manual up load to Google when I first started. That way I could test my format and make sure the file name was right. I didn't trust that it would auto insert the feed, so I did it myself, which could be your problem if you didn't create the feed yet in Google.
Now its done through the mod and it still takes 12-24 for the feed to go live, but my feed now is over 5000 products.
Another good reason for doing a small manual upload... you'll need to clam the feed using the Google instructions.
