How customers recieve confirmation after placed order

Hello!

Where I can set up for the customers recieve their order confirmation? Before it can, after the language files code been modified, many settings back to the original state. So now customers don't get the email after ordering. They often send email ask me, because they don't know if the order placed or not.

Suggestion basically is to upgrade then deal with any new issues that arise. Afterall, if there have been no modifications to the code, then more than likely php version has been changed.
