Newbie needing assistance

Hi everyone. I have a couple of questions that I believe belong in this section of the forum.

1. When in admin I click on tools/send email. I get this error msg.

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ':admin_id' at line 1
in:
[select 'ADMIN' as customers_firstname, admin_name as customers_lastname, admin_email as customers_email_address from admin where admin_id = $SESSION:admin_id ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

HELP!!! I have no idea where what when etc.... to fix this. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

2nd question.. When i added a couple products, I inserted a jpg file using the html area of the products description. When using IE the jpg will not load on first attempt But when you right click and say "show pic"
it immediatly shows up. I at first thought this might be a server problem until I installed firefox. It shows up instantly every time when using firefox. Any suggestions on what I can do to make it work the first time when using IE? The page in question is ....

Silly question- Why have the small image and large image on the page at the same time?

I do not know how to set things up so that I have a thumbnail for the catagory area and still have the large pic show up when the customer goes to that product page. I do not want them to have to click yet another thing to Finally see the large pic of the product. I do not want to set all my large pic sizes to be this large. Just particular products that I want them LARGE to start with. Hope that made sense.

Now anyone with any help on the SQL prob?? I understand even less about sql than I do about zencart and pics. Which means I know nothing about it :dontgetit

What version are you using?
What version did you upgrade from?
What contributions/addon's have you installed?

That SQL error suggests that you have some out-of-date files on your server.
