Has anyone experience with the module NuSEO.PHP?

What does it do with your website in the search engine rankings?

Is it diffivcult to install and to work with?

The site has a copyright date that hasn't been updated since 2007. The SSL cert also lasped in 2007.

The demo system is down, but is showing that the configure.php files are writeable, suggesting that it hasn't been properly installed.

The screenshots suggest that it is basically a URL re-writing tool. Even if it works on the current version of Zen Cart, the weight of evidence is increasingly suggesting that these create more user friendly links, useful for posting in blogs, etc, but don't help your search engine rankings.

• Keyword-rich Static URLs for Categories and Products; which increases your site's link consistency and reduces content duplication.
• Dynamic Meta Tags with product and category specific content.
  These can be done by the available add-ons on zencart already.

Does putting keywords in url help? Probably not

This has kind of answered a question a few posts down.

Is using one of the zen-cart add ons the only way to put text into the url suffix.

Its just i read there are issues with such add ons...?

The value of rewriting your urls is not the text so much, as the weight is very small for this regarding ranking... But rather the removal of unnecessary dynamic parameters which can make crawling difficult.

Google for example is getting much better at this, but still recommends keeping your urls clean

Any of the url rewrite mods in the addon section will do you just fine.

kuroi and yellow have given you great advice.. One last piece, if you are looking to stuff your urls to help you rank you time is much better spent on your content and page titles.

Advice taken on board...........and thanks. Like i said getting to number one on yahoo has been a doddle and i'm still there.

Google on the other hand is just hard, hard work, and to be honest i like it like that otherwise everyone would be able to do it.

I've tried to keep everything simple and am now filling the site with original content and plenty of it..............
