SitemapXML v.2

Hi - I have the latest version of this sitemap on a 1.3.9h site and it is not submitting images to WMT - module has been loaded as per instructions and double checked - is there a solution to this?

Re: SitemapXML v.2

Hi,

I have just installed this add on today on 2 of my sites, one it worked perfect but the other, the manufacturersitemap.xml isn't populating.

I have narrowed the problem down, it seems that because I have used easy populate to add my manufacturers and products, it won't pick them up,

I deleted one of the manufacturers and manually created it again, and linked the products, the sitemap module then picked it up.

I was wondering if there is any way I can overcome this problem, except from deleting all manufacturers and manually creating them and linking all the products to them.

I am using v1.51 - the url to the site is www. cheapsupplements365 .co.uk

Re: SitemapXML v.2

Hi Andrew

I have tried to install this add-on on a fresh zen cart 1.51 install I got the following log error

[21-Apr-2014 07:55:39 UTC] PHP Warning: require(includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_sitemapxml_default.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/zc8/includes/templates/template_default/common/tpl_main_page.php on line 122

I repeated for 3 time & got the same error.

Would you please tell me how to solve this problem.

Best of Luck
Hany.

Hi Andrew

Of course I copied all files, the error is about "tpl_sitemapxml_default.php" which I did not find inside distribution archives.

Note: I'm using PHP Version 5.4.4-14+deb7u8.

Best Regards

Hany

Absolutely, file tpl_sitemapxml_default.php not in the distribution and should not be. It is not used. Instead of using files in directory sitemapxml.

Hi Andrew

Sorry for wasting your time, it was a file permission problem.

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I appear to have installed the latest version of Sitemap XML correctly - as it is generating all parts of the sitemap.

However in admin/configuration/Sitemap XML there is no actual English text showing ie I am getting this down the left hand side :-

TEXT_CONFIGURATION_TITLE_SITEMAPXML_VERSION
TEXT_CONFIGURATION_TITLE_SITEMAPXML_SITEMAPINDEX
TEXT_CONFIGURATION_TITLE_SITEMAPXML_DIR_WS

The actual values down the right hand side of admin/configuration/Sitemap XML appear to update ok.

It looks to me as if the actual 'English' values of these parameters are supposed to be set into the database 'configuration' table - but mine table doesnt hold the values - just the value heading names.

Can you tell me how I can correct this. Not sure if editing the configuration table as a one-off is enough.

New install of Zen Cart 1.5.1 (my 1st time)
New database.
Sitemap XML version 3.2.12

  1. Uninstall this module,
  2. copy YOUR_Admin\includes\languages\english\sitemapxml.php to YOUR_Admin\includes\languages\YOUR_LANGUAGE\sitemapxml.php
  3. Install

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I assume you do mean this ... as I assume that I need to get back to the point where it will do the 'installation' part again.

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I've uploaded all the files to the correct locations but I can't see anything in the admin area. XML Sitempa isn't visible in Admin Settings or Configuration.
Zen Cart 1.3.8a
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
Any pointers on how to fix gratefully received!

Re: SitemapXML v.2

Never mind I fixed it. There are 2 "admin" directories in this site for some reason and I'd uploaded to the wrong one.

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I have searched and tried all the fixes people have mentioned but have just started getting the following error after over a year of perfect opperation.... could be because ive now added more products to my site ... but cant find a fix

[01-Jun-2014 09:53:57 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error: 2008:MySQL client ran out of memory :: select products_type from products where products_id = '5388' in /home/public_html/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 120
[01-Jun-2014 09:53:57 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error: 2013:Lost connection to MySQL server during query :: select count(*) as total
from sessions
where sesskey = '3a359e814b29dc3a564aeef9d' in /home/public_html/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 120

plenty of people have mentioned this before and people have said its a host issue etc but i believe this is something else for me as i have a VPS with over 16gb of ram (only 10% used during normal operation) and plently of disk space (only 8% used of my 40gb of space). I have full root access through my cpanel WHM etc and have the php memory_limit set to -1 (have tried all kinds of settings in here no no effect) can anyone give me any pointers incase im missing something

Re: SitemapXML v.2

you can only create a sitemap index instead of creating sitemap, sitemap sitemap categories and products, if feasible a single file that incorporates the products and categories. I only have 25 categories and 300 products, I think it's better to have a single google site map.
