Phishing

I'm not a ZenCart user, but in the last couple of days have received 2 phishing scams that exploit ZenCart in some way. The Emails contain links similar to the following -

http://somedomain.com/zencart/images/servlet/modules/https||online.hmrc.gov.uk|refund=https||online.hmrc.gov.uk|home&Reason=-1&APPID=Common&URI=https||online.hmrc.gov.uk|taxrefundurl=/United/index.htm

I can forward one of the original Emails if required.

Re: Phishing

"somedomain.com" ... isn't very descriptive.

If you wish to be a good samaritan, I suggest that you contact the owners of the domains mentioned in the emails you received, and let them know about the matter.
Then they can do whatever is appropriate to protect their sites.

There's nothing "we" can do specifically. It's up to each individual storeowner to maintain their own copy of their Zen Cart code. We have no control over it.
