Discount for first time purchase on a particular product.
Hello,
I am trying figure out a way to give a discount to a product when first bought by a customer. This discount needs to apply to new and existing customers. If its their first purchase of a particular product then they get a discount.
Example:
I have:
Product 1
Product 2
Product 3
Product 4 - the newly added product
If John buys 'Product 4' and its his first time buying this then he will get 50% discount, regardless of the fact that he is a new or existing customer. If he buys it again he pays full price.
If he adds, say, product 1, he pays full price for 'product 1' and gets 50% discount on 'product 4'
Hope this makes sense.
I have had a look but can't seem to find a solution. Am I missing something simple?
If anyone could help out I would be so greatful.
