Modifying/deleting gift certificate balances

I have a customer who has redeemed a gift certificate (but not used it yet) -- so they have a gift certificate balance. They'd like a refund. How can I modify their gift certificate balance?

You would need to go to phpMyAdmin and in the database you will find a table called:
coupon_gv_customer

look for the customer_id for this customer and reduce the balance by how much the GV was for ...
