Is it possible to disable/hide gift cert, discount coupon etc

I am trying to figure out how to hide, or disable some of the features seen in the information box such as the Gift Certificate, Privacy notice, . Please can someone assist. Thank you for your assistance.

Admin->Modules->Order Total ... disable ot_coupon and ot_gv if you don't intend to offer those features. That will turn off their links everywhere else.

thank you for your help. Do i click remove or do i edit, and put "false" for all the features. In the event i do click remove, can i easily add this feature back?

Click remove. You can click Install later if you want the features available.

Also there are other options in the Information box such as privacy notice etc.. where do i go to remove these? Thanks again.

You probably should use those pages for their intended purpose.

But, if you want to turn them off, I think what you're asking for can be found in Admin->Configuration->Define Pages status
