different discounts on one coupon

Hi. My organisation has members. We offer them 50% discount on some products and 15% on others. I can't find a way to have the coupon "member" generate the two rates on different categories of products. Is there a way?

Discount Coupons are only designed to work for one Amount, one Percentage or Free Shipping ... they are not designed for multiple settings ...

But it's nothing to fear. Create two coupons, and use the Coupon Restrictions feature to make them apply to different groups of products (with different discount rates).

thanks, swguy. i have just done that.

however, where a member purchases from both coupon groups, how can/should the two coupons be entered? how can i change limit from 1 per customer to 2 per transaction?

There's a hard limit of one per transaction.
