Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Ok.. I've read around the 200 pages here and still not found the answers.

I've 2 problems.
First an old one, when adding a new big image after the standard image i get an error and the image is not added:

Error!

Unable to determine the page link!

Function used:

zen_href_link('', '', 'NONSSL')

The next problem is a strange one.
About the big image not showing on several places.
By some products I can see the big image and by others not.
The biggest diverense is that the images what are shown are from the bmz-cache the images not shown are directly.

Hello I recently installed the image handler and notice one thing went wrong some of the pictures on my main page are gone! I think they are the defult picutures not sure cans someone help? https://www.creative-juices.biz. Please someone help. Thank you in advance!

Hi, I've installed IH2 on Zencart 1.38
My development Webserver is in Windows

The problem I'm having is when I go to Admin > Tools > Image handler > manager and browse to any product with images, The images shown in Default , Medium and Large Size just show an X, don't show the actual image

Also when I go to Admin > Tools > Image handler > Preview it also shows a RED X on each image instead of vthe actual image

the images that I'm loading don't have any "_"

I've attached a picture of the Preview screen

Have anyone experienced this before?

Sorry if I've missed this anywhere and it's already been covered. :unsure:

My web host installed IH2 for me and it seems to be absolutely fine.
The only question I have is how to alter the size of the pop up image.

The image default is set on small, but when you hoover for pop up, the image doesn't come up that much bigger, so almost pointless. Anyone know how I change this?

You should be able to alter the large (popup) size in the admin, under configuration > images, down at the bottom:

IH large image maximum width
IH large image maximum height

Hi, tried that but doesn't seem to make any difference. Is it anything to do with the image size default being set to small?

Also the pop up shows at the top of the page, so if looking at something towards the bottom, you don't see the pop up anyway because it's too high.

Just a quick question before I install this mod.

Does this mod resize EXISTING images? I've read alot of the posts here and beleive the answer to be yes.

Is this automatic or do I need to reload the images in the /images folder or move them to the /bmz_cache folder?

I've the same problem too, but only on some of the products. Does anyone knows why?

My problem turned out to be that I still had php safe mode turned on for that domain. (I didn't even bother checking this as I always leave it off)

So the hours I spent messing around could have been saved by an un-tick of a box!

ooo. I found out why I had that problem now.... I first image that I had uploaded was some like imagename+1.jpg. once I had removed the +1 from the first image name, everything works fine again... I hope this will help.

I have a clean install of v.1.3.8a to which I've added custom templates using the template override system. I then tried installing IH2. I copied all the directories and files as instructed but do not get an IH2 menu item in Admin>Tools. Does anyone have any ideas on things to check for?

I just tried that and when I go into Tools/Image Handler it shows the file size as 52KB for all three images?

Seems that nobody knows the anwer I can provide you with a solution.
Go with a FTP programm to the folder images and remove the image(s).

Then go to the image handler and add all 3 images again.
By that you will have your images where you want it.

Hi,

Don't place an image with the product, do that with the IH.
The resising of the image is set in the settings. (Configuration / Images)
That includes to ALL images used (sizes and some jpg settings)

This site is my Dad's and I am trying to make it as simple for him as possible.can he simply copy up a single large image and IH will automatically create the 3 resized images? If so where do I copy it to? The image field in the Category/Product screen? One of the 3 image fields in IH? If so which one?

Check if you have the javascripts on the right places.
It looks that those are missing.

If all files are there in the correct folders it should work.

We cannot see that "This site" is.
And it's the best to go directly to the IH to upload images.
It will automatic resize if they are to big.
Of course depending on the settings in <configuration><images>
