Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

tophand:

You are still missing a file!
This one, jscript_imagehover.js
Should be here:```
includes/templates/zj_silver/jscript/jscript_imagehover.js

I think this one should be pinned somewhere. That particular file is not included in the includes/templates/template_custom(image-handler_2.0-zc137 download). It is in the template _default file. Coping the jscript folder to the template_custom folder is what finally fixed my problem. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Yup! That's one very helpful post.

I still have problems though. The Zoom now works on the medium sized files in the listings, but not in the main listing (i.e. the image with the words "larger image" below it.

I am going to have to try to work out the relative referencing between the jscript_imagehover.js (now in the custom folder) and the medium sized files...(which works!)...and see if I can apply the same reasoning to the main listing image.

Hopefully, it will tell me where to place another jscript_imagehover.js file. But I've kind of lost the will to live dealing with this at the moment!

The main product image doesn't zoom/hover as stated in the docs.
http://breakmyzencart.com/ih-doc.
The main product image is the medium sized image.
If it did it will be the very same image at the very same size.

panzico:

Here's a link to one of my products with multiple images: http://www.poodlesupply.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_13&products_id=249

Thanks

Looks like a light box problem but I never use lightbox so...

If you look at the image properties (right click) you can see that they are link to shop/images/ instead of shop/bmz_cache/.
So that means IH is not processing those images which is why there is no watermark.

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

tophand, you are so helpful - I see now that zooming in on medium images is not yet implemented. So it says. And this is a medium-sized image (I think).

That means I can't do anything but try to get rid of the "larger image" words. Do you know offhand how that is done?

BUT...
I still don't really follow what is happening because if you go to this page:

http://www.aapress.com.au/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_2&products_id=8[/URL

...you will see that the zoom works for the two blue books at the bottom. They are medium-sized I think.

I don't know what the point of those two books is either - you can't seem to swivel through to the other three products in that listing. It's all quite strange to me.

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Regarding my earlier post:
Watermarks for Additional Images in IH2
I can't seem to get the watermarks to work on larger images from additional images. It works fine from the main image, but not the additional images. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I just figured it out. For those who have the same situation, here's what you do...very simple: Place your additional images in your images folder as usual, with the underscore then identifier, for example, say your main image is tShirt.jpg, your additional image will be called tShirt_ladies.jpg. The Ladies T-Shirt will be the additional image that comes up on your product page, however it won't watermark on the large image unless you place a tShirt_ladies_LRG.jpg in the images>large folder.

I woke up this morning with the revelation, and by golly, it works!

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Hi!

I just upgraded a site from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a- all went fine (whew!) except now the additional images don't show on the product pages - even though the images are in IH tools.

Will I need to clear the bmz cache for the images to show up or will I need to install the patch listed earlier in this thread ~ or both?

For anyone wanting to know - I cleared the bmz cache AND corrected the includes/classes/bmz_image_handler_class.php and the additional images are back again! Woo Hoo!

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

eaglewolf,
The file change I made is as follows ~ just replace the code in the file with this.

// we should parse old parameters here and possibly merge some inc case they're duplicate
$parameters .= ($parameters != '') ? ' ' : '';
if (!($_GET['main_page']==FILENAME_PRODUCT_INFO)) {
return $parameters . 'style="position:relative" onmouseover="showtrail(' . "'$products_image_zoom','$alt',$width,$height,$zoomwidth,$zoomheight,this," . $this->zoom['startx'].','.$this->zoom['starty'].','.$this->zoom['width'].','.$this->zoom['height'].');" onmouseout="hidetrail();" ';
} else {
return $parameters . 'style="position:relative" onmouseover="showtrail(' . "'$products_image_zoom','$alt',$width,$height,$zoomwidth,$zoomheight,this," . $this->zoom['startx'].','.$this->zoom['starty'].','.$this->zoom['width'].','.$this->zoom['height'].');" onmouseout="hidetrail();" ';
}
}
}
}

}

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Thanks!

Now I can see the extra images!
But no medium image is shown when I hover the extra images!

And I can't usage .jpg files!!!!
(.gif and .png works !)

Change back the changes in the file (includes/classes/bmz_image_handler_class.php).

And!

Images is showing at the product page
The "hover" function works
And I can see the .jpg files!

Strange!

I have try (before the file modification) to clear the bmz cache several times with no effects!

Strange!
Have some one a explanation of this?

(I have also try it on a newly installed ZC, same behaviour!)
??

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

My thumbs aren't showing in the product info page, but are showing in the product listings. I just installed image handler. When I go to manage the images I get this error message:

Warning: strstr() [function.strstr]: Empty delimiter. in /usr/home/darkdesire/domains/adarkdesire.com/public_html/zen/includes/classes/bmz_image_handler.class.php on line 126

Could this problem be related to the above?

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I am having a permissions problem where the images that I upload are set to 600. If I upload an image under categories/products it works fine. I have seen this issue a few times in this thread, but no real answers. I talked to my host about it and they suggested that I customize the code and manually set the permissions using chmod(). I can easily do this if someone could direct me to the file and line that uploads/moves the files to server. Does anybody know where this is?

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Hello all :)

I have an odd issue. I've uninstalled IH2 on a site I'm working on (it just turned out to be "more than they needed" - nothing against IH2, I love the plugin!). I first uninstalled through the IH2 admin area, and then I went through and removed all the files I had uploaded for the plugin. Now, I had not made any changes to my template files or anything when I had installed - it was mostly a clean installation of ZenCart, so there was no need for me to "separate" IH2 stuff from my own template files. However, I'm now wondering if someone else did do something (there are other people working on the site, although generally they leave my stuff alone - but you know that doesn't mean some people cannot stop themselves...) because now, on every Product Info page that has an image in it, the layout is broken.

If the product info page does not have an image, it's fine. But there's a certain point where the template just stps loading if there is an image for the product. Here is that last line you see in the "view source":

<!--bof Main Product Image -->

After that, the page just abruptly stops. I opened up my tpl_product_info_display.php file, the the next line is this:

<?php if (zen_not_null($products_image)) { ?> <?php /* display the main product image */ require($template->get_template_dir('/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'templates'). '/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php'); ?> <?php } ?> <!--eof Main Product Image-->

Now, this is odd to me - it doesn't seem like this section should be breaking the site, but it is. This is also not the first time this has happened - while working on the site yesterday, there was another template doing the exact same thing, in the exact same spot, with the exact same code. The only way I could fix it was just by eliminating that entire section. For that template file, it was fine, because images really weren't needed. But in this case, they are, and I need this function to work.

I've already tried uploading the default template to override mine, but it's even doing this in the default. The only conclusion I can come to is that I did something wrong when I uninstalled IH2. Is there something else I should be looking for to fix this?

I'd appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!

Did you clear the bmz_cache folder?
Have you tried uploading a fresh copy of the image?

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Okay, so I finally found the error logs (woo-hoo!) and this is the error message I'm getting (sitename and stuff changed to protect the innocent):

[Mon Nov 03 12:00:50 2008] [error] [client 26.128.137.054] PHP Fatal error: require() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'includes/modules/main_product_image.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/html/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php on line 12, referer: http://www.somesite.com/breakfast-goodies-c-2_6.html

I've checked, and the files are in place, just as they should be. I dont understand why it "failed to open" the file when it's right there.

Oh crap! it's NOT there! LOL Whoa - how bizarre! I have a localhost installation, and it's there - but for some reason, it's not in the filesystem on the live server. WTH? how weird! OMG - I'm such an idiot. Okay, you can chalk one up to being plain stupid. I had 'ported over all the files from my localhost installation, and it must have "burped" over this one.

lesson learned people: find your error logs - they'll tell you exactly what's going on! I will now shamefully skulk away LOL
