Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I installed IH2 Ver 2.0 rev 7 on my fresh zencart v.1.3.9c install. There is no zoom from small picture to medium pictures. I followed every step of the instructions. Did I miss anything?

I use both IH2 and zencart lightbox. Why lightbox only applies to the product image, not the additional image of products?

Still, a pop up window showed up when I click on the small image of the additional images.

How to apply lightbox to additional images too?

Did I miss anything?This usually means that your image settings were not being done correctly. Please see the readme for hints/details on correct image settings.

How to apply lightbox to additional images too?This is not related to IH2 support.. You'll need to post questions regarding the Lightbox module in the support thread for the Lightbox module..

So I tried merging the IH2 files with the 1.3.9 files and can not seem to get them right after repeated attempts. Has anyone done this successfully and if so would you be willing to share?

You have not uploaded all the files, i can tell this by looking at the source of your page

you need to copy the contents of the YOUR_Template directory that comes with images handler, into "your" template directory which in your case is the "lite_red" template, you will need to compare and merge any files that may be overwritten

for a start the "style_imagehover.css" file is missing, this should be in the
includes/templates/lite_red/css/

In admin-configuration-images, I set IH zoom medium images to be yes. In the product page, I did see the little squre under the medium image, but there is no zoom overlay while hovering the mouse pointer over medium images.

Did I missing anything? Is there any code I need to change?

You are right nigelt74, I missed one css to upload to my template which was the stylesheet_css_buttons.css thanks now it works :clap:

Just one more thing! why I can't get the larg image when I go mouseover the thumbnail ? I mean is there a way to edit the size of the uploaded image ?

Has been discussed many time here that the zoom feature on medium images (the one that appears on the product detail page) does not work, and has never worked.. It was a future feature that the original author never was able to add to the module.. (I believe it is also eluded to in the readme..)

Thank you DivaVocals. I appreciate that this mod is being supported by kind volunteers. Has the new 1.3.9.c and pending release of 1.3.9.d been causing problems and delaying the updated version? It seems to be taking some time.

For all those who are anxious about updates.
I have already tested a beta version of IH2 for ZC 1.3.9c and PHP 5.3.x.
It is also backwards-compatible with PHP 5.2.x, tested so far on 5.2.10.

That is the "product listing page" and uses the small images.

The "product detail/product info" page uses the medium image.
