Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

im using IE6...what im trying to say is that, when we are hovering our cursor at each of the top menu such as "Configuration, "Catalog", etc...,we can gain access to sub-menus! but when i go to Catalog->Salemaker, from that page i cant gain entry to the sub-menus as it would! unless, i have to "click" the link to the top menu for example Configuration where the system display all the links (like a site map).

Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

Only way I have a problem with the menus is at 800x600

They are designed for 1024x768 ...

I am not sure why you cannot get to the Sale Maker Menu ... unless you have a 2" header on your browser ...

Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

If I am ever off of my computer with the 21 inchers, and have problems getting to any menu items, I just click on the menu title "Catalog" and it'll take you to the http://myshop/admin/alt_nav.php

There you can easily scroll to what you're looking for.

Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

actually, i can go to salemaker but from that page, when i try to access for example the "My Store" option, the only way i can access to it is to "alt_nav.php", but not from the the slide menu that usually appears from the respective header menu when we are hovering our pointer! beacuse the slides menu doesn't appear!!!:lookaroun

this happens after i upgrade to patch level 1.3.0.1!

I just cannot imagine the picture of what you are saying happens ...

Would you mind PMing me an access to your Admin so that I can see what you think you are seeing? Because what you are saying is not making a lot of sense to me ...

I'm having the same problem on a fully updated install. I've attached a screen grab. Any ideas?

Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

Does that menu only do that in salemaker.php?

Make sure that you update all of your /admin files ... including stylesheets ...

I cannot reproduce that ... but I know at one time I adjusted stylesheet settings to widen the menus so they would not be cut off ...

Almost looks like your's is suffering from this issue ...

Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

I've checked against the 1.3.0.2 full fileset. All admin css files are up to date.

I usually use Safari on a Mac, but I tried Firefox this evening. On Firefox, the menus are OK so it must be something to do with the way the browser handles the layout?

Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

I don't have a MAC nor safari to test that ...

I know that there are numerous quirks with MAC and safari ...

I hear tell FireFox is a very nice browser for all ...

Re: is it a bug in Salemaker???

I'm also experiencing this problem when viewing the admin in IE7.

Any fix for this yet?
