Would prefer to have 'login box' in header... not the sidebox...
Hello!
I'd like to change the placement of where the login box resides. By default, its placed in the sidebox in column one. Instead, I would prefer to place it inside the header wrapper. I've attempted to manouver the code with no success!
The HTML code...
<div id="navMain"><div id="navcontainer">
<ul id="navlist">
<li id="active"><a href="#" id="current"></a></li>
<li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="#">About Us</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Shop Now!</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Contact Us</a></li>
</ul></div><div class="navSearchContent" id="navSearch">
<form action="http://www.vardanyanjewelry.net/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result" method="get" name="quick_find_header" id="quick_find_header">
<input name="keyword" type="text" style="width: 130px;" onfocus="if (this.value == 'Search Vardanyan Jewelry') this.value = '';" value="Search Vardanyan Jewelry" size="6" maxlength="60" />
<input name="main_page" value="advanced_search_result" type="hidden" />
<input name="search_in_description" value="1" type="hidden" />
<input name="submit" type="submit" style="width: 33px;" value="GO!" />
</form></div>
<div id="loginboxContent"><form name="login_box" action="http://www.vardanyanjewelry.net/index.php?main_page=login&action=process" method="post">Email:<br /><input name="email_address" type="text" size="20" maxlength="50" />
<br />Password:<br /><input name="password" type="password" size="20" /><br /><a href="http://www.vardanyanjewelry.net/index.php?main_page=password_forgotten">Forgotten Password</a><br /><a href="http://www.vardanyanjewelry.net/index.php?main_page=login">Create Account</a><br /><div class="centeredContent"><input type="image" src="includes/templates/template_default/buttons/english/button_login.gif" alt="Sign In" title=" Sign In " /></div></form></div>
<p> </p>
</div>
Thats styled with:
FORM, SELECT, INPUT {
font-size: 15px;
margin: 0px;
float: right;
padding: 0px;
font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Helvetica, Geneva;
font-weight: lighter;
text-align: right;
height: auto;
display: inline;
}
#navMainWrapper form {
padding: 0px;
float: none;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin-left: 0px;
}
#navSearch {
float: right;
width: 49%;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
}
#loginboxContent {
text-decoration: none;
width: 50%;
float: right;
padding-top: 0px;
padding-right: 1em;
padding-bottom: 0px;
margin: 0px;
}
I could be wrong, but I believe its something to do with having more than one 'form' in a section. I notice when changing properties of one 'form' ... The properties of the other 'form' changes as well. . I would like to control them independently... but how? I want the login box to look something like the thumbnail below. Any solutions?
Any input is much appreciated!
Michael
