Max new products display setting

Hi

Not working. My setting in admin->configuration->maximum values->

Maximum Display of Specials Products - Main Page 3

I can set this to any value, but ZC pushes 9 products. Is there a setting elsewhere?:lamo:

New products Box on main page - how many.. TRY
Alter number shown via admin/maxmium values/new products module
i.e alter to 3, 6 or 9
