Desired Feature: Attributes Controller Filter

ADDING NEW ATTRIBUTES TO A PRODUCT
When the list of Option Values gets very long, assigning attributes to a product can be a real chore with every option value in a single long list, sorted alphabetically. You can use the keyboard to quickly locate the first value that starts with the character being sought, but if you have many values starting with the same letter or number, it's still more difficult than it needs to be.

SUGGESTION: Why not filter the value list depending on the chosen option? For example, if I select color in the option name column, it would really be nice if the option value list were automatically filtered to display only those values associated with color.

This already exists. its an addon called advanced attribute controller. Search for it in the downloads section.

Providing you do a backup first ...

There are some handy copy features also in the Option Names ...

Say you have a Product and want to add Color ...

You setup 27 Option Values for Color ...

That will take forever to do 1 by 1 ...

Unless ... you added 1 Color with 1 Option Value in the Attributes Controller ... then went to the Option Names Manager ...

Add ALL Option Values to ONE products for Option Name
Update ONE product that has at least ONE Option Value and Add ALL Option Values in an Option Name

Pick Color ... Pick Product ... Click Update ...

All 27 are added ... :cool:
