Sale price not showing in cart

I'm stumped....I was testing the sale option out (first time) i made a sale taht should be 10% off all oils. The correct amount is displayed on the product page but is not displayed in the attribute section of the product.

It is not giving the correct amount in the shopping cart either. I am thinking it has something to do with how the attributes are set up? Any ideas

Are you importing your products?

Do your products all have master_categories_id set in the products table? You can check this via phpMyAdmin and browse the products table ...

Do your products all have a products_price_sorter?

Do you use Linked Products?

Did anyone find a solution to this, my sale prices were working and today it started showing full price when added to the shopping cart.

My Discounts done with Specials work, but the shopping cart does not itemize the discount

i have specials on items in other catagories that are working fine but the items in the punching bag catagory show discount on the product pages but not in the checkout.

i finally took off the special on these products and dropped the regular price to the product price as i couldn't find a solution.

check they products in questions seem to have a master catagory that set right

If you are using Sale Maker, what are the settings on the Sale and is the sale active as in a green icon vs inactive with a red icon?
