Google Checkout module for ZC 1.3.x (beta)

Hi All

I have installed google checkout and getting an error message from google checkout when I get transferred over,also not to sure what my api called back should be? set at in my google account, this is the message I get below ,my checkout process is not padlocked

I decided to just uninstall this module. Im pretty sure I haven't missed anything but for some reason, I still have all the Google Order Status in admin? Can I just delete them?

Also, I can drop the two tables (google_checkout and google_orders) now right?

Hi i installed GC on my 1.3.8 zencart and i have no idea why new orders are not showing in admin, i think there is some problem with that file :

im useing server with PHP Version: 4.4.7
Database: MySQL 4.1.22

i set up .htaccess Basic Authentication Mode to true but im not sure its correct or not.

Please help

I have Google Checkout setup properly for domestic orders but it cannot take international orders with non-US addresses. How can this be fixed?

I am experiencing the same exact problem where on page 2 of the checkout with a valid user, there is no google checkout option. The only time I see the google checkout is viewing the shopping cart. A solution to this would be amazing! :D

As it stands, if someone opts to create a new account, or logs in as an existing customer, they can start to checkout but under payment options, it says there are none, because Google Checkout is my only option. And the only way right now to choose Google Checkout as a payment option is during checkout, if the user is NOT logged in, and they get sent to the login page.

How do I get it so if a user is logged in and goes to checkout, they can choose Google Checkout as a payment option, and get sent out to Google's server?

Just a follow up, I sorted the problem I mentioned above it was a setting on my google checkout admin ,but take note it seemed to take
a day for change to take effect.

from what I gather from your questions, we only don't have SSl installed. How sure can we be that this is causing the bug? Should we go ahead and pay for it?

Without correct level of SSL cert, Google checkout in live mode,
WILL NOT WORK.

we have already started the process of buying and installing SSL on the server.

However, we are trying with sandbox & without SSl and it's still not working.. Shouldn't it work with sandbox?

Yes, if you have altered settings, via admin, in zencart google checkout,
to reflect this change to sandbox.

Our store is now live with Google Checkout using version 1.4.7. Our store is designed as a gift site. Some of the "ship to" locations will be classified as businesses while others will be classified as residences. When we prepare labels for shipping on the FedEx site, the site will check if the address is a residence or business and charge us differently by using FedEx Home v. FedEx Ground. FedEx Home appears to be more expensive.

Is there anyway to have Google Checkout validate the address to see if it is a residence and then not allow the user to select an invalid shipping method? This seems possible as it is exactly what FedEx.com is doing.

If you do not have SSL cert, recommended Google level, will not work
at LIVE level.

i.e.

What do you mean by "Go to the next section?"

When I went to that URL, It went to a login thing -- where it asked for a username and password.

I don't mean anything, those are installation instructions.
If you got to login with username/password screen, this is correct,
then you continue to next level of instructions.
