Module compatiblity in 1.3.7

Hello,

I just finished setting up 1.3.6 with the following Modules:

Super Orders 2
Tabbed products Lite 3.8
Quickbooks Export - updated for 1.3.7 !
Easy Populate 1.2.5.4
Image Handler 2
Sales Report 1.02

Do you know if the above are working in 1.3.7?

Are there security updates that make 1.3.7 a mandatory upgrade or can I be comfortable using the 1.3.6?

1.)The reason I upgraded to 1.3.6 was that my tax calculations are incorrect when a customer uses a coupon.

2.)Tax is not always applied when customer uses a billing address different from their shipping address.

3.) I'm obsessive/compulsive ;)

I did a diff of the Encrypted Master Password and it actually overwrites the file header_php.php and accidentally removes the following added in 1.3.7.

that contribution should be changed to a function and the function should be called from header_php.php

Easy Populate 1.2.5.4 is fine with my 1.37 installation.

As I used Easy Populate 1.2.5.4 to add 200 items while my ZenCart was still 1.3.6., it didn't give me a proper message indicating that those items were listed successfully, instead, I got "page not found" error. However, all the items were properly added.

Did it show the page showing items successfully listed under 1.3.7?

Also, do you still have "Select by Category/Manufacturer" option available as you either select Category or Manufacturer at your shop? Mine is gone for some reason.

To Admin and/or Mod,

I would appreciate your answers to my following questions:

1.) Is "Select by Category/Manufacturer" still available in ZenCart or not?

2.) If I suspect my problem is something to do with the use of my CPanel/database, in which forum area can I post a message regarding the problem?

3.) Would any one of you have any idea, assuming it has to do with CPanel/database, how to fix the problem the easy way.

I'm not admin or mod, but I can see that it is there in my cart, client side (1.3.7) however I tweaked my catalog a lot to get things I wanted in it, so defaults may not apply. I do not see an option to sort by manufacturer in the admin side.
For Cpanel issues do a search on cpanel in the forum search and you'll come up with several threads, using the green "bug" icon for your post might get some attention as well.

So, apparently it's still available. I'm really puzzled by this. I'll take a close look at the admin to see if any values have been changed.

Solved it!

In my case, for some reason, both "Display Category/Manufacturer Filter" and "Include Product Listing Alpha Sorter Dropdown" had to be turned on in the admin for "Category/Manufacturer Filter" to appear in the cart. It's strange! Consequently, "Alpha Sorter Dropdown" also appears but I could live with that.

I think it's my database issue, but who knows. Everything seems ok. If any one of phpAdmin/database experts out there has some theory, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks "SnowBlind"! As you said, I tweaked with the admin area. I didn't think it would change any because I knew my setting in the admin was right, but I'm glad I did. I was thinking of deleting and reloading all of my data.

It's strange!

In my cart the only time I can get the manufacturers filter to show up in the catagories is to also turn on the Alpha Sorter. So it is not just your store.

Not sure if this is how it should work.

You might want to contact "Langer" and/or ZenCart so that your file will be uploaded at a proper contribution location.

Did you have to change anything to get Sales Report to work? I installed it (rev 104) over a clean install of 1.3.7 and get a blank page when I select it from the menu.

you need to use version 2.0
