1.3.7 - Coupon and VAT calculation.

I have done a lot of research and tried out every setting possible for the Order Total - Coupon Code.

I display all prices with VAT in the shop and in the admin.

I have set up a coupon code of 500.

I have a VAT set to 25 %

The following is displayed after the code has been applied.

Sub-Total: 4,999.00
Store Pickup: 0.00

Discount Coupon: -500.00
VAT: 999.80 (This is not correct as this is calculated on the price before the discount)
Total: 4,499.00 (The total is correct, but the VAT should be 899.8 on 4499 with 25% VAT)

My settings in Order Total are:

**Include Shipping
**false

Include Tax
false

Re-calculate Tax
None

Tax Class
Taxable Goods

Help on this would be much appriciated as we can't go live until this issue is solved!

Chris, this has been raised before, and it seems there's a bug in the code. Discount coupons will allow correct VAT calc, if there is ONE product in the cart, but MORE than one causes an error in the vat calc.

I built a store that displays prices EXCL vat, and set the coupon to CREDIT NOTE in Order Totals.

This seems to have fixed the issue, but if you set your store to be INCLUSIVE of vat, then the problem returns.

I think there are definite bugs/issues with Zen tax calcs. Hopefully these will be eventually resolved
