Deleting Coupons?

Using 1.3.7, creating a coupon.
Coupon gets used, then I want to delete the coupon to re-use the code for another.
Go to inactive coupons, select the coupn, select delete...and its still there!

How can i delete a coupon, to then re-use the coupon code?

If you want to reuse the same code ... can't you just edit it? :smile:

I suppose, but doesn't answer the question why you can't delete....ever!

I end up with a long list of discount coupons with various names.
So much easier to manage by just deleting when they've been used, otherwise whats the point of having a button called "delete"?

Discount Coupons were designed to be more regulated so that once you delete a coupon that code cannot be re-used ...

Otherwise, you would not know anything about Discount Coupon code: ABC123

such as when was it issued, when did it expire, how long before it was used, etc. etc. etc.

If you wanted to extend the time on a Discount Coupon, before deleting it, you could update the time and this would extend that expiration time ...
