Preventing Group Discounts Applying to Gift Certificates

Hi,

we have 2 gift certificates set_up one £5 and one £10, we also have a group discount set_up that applies a 10% discount to orders over £200. Is there a way of preventing this group discount applying to orders over £200 of gift vouchers.

I suppose we could put in maximum order per product / Gift certificate i.e maximum of 10 x £5 gift voucher and 10 x £10 gift certificates but that seems a strange thing to do when you want to encourage people to purchase as many of something as possible.

Anyone got any ideas that would be great.

Are you using the stock code for the discount or something custom. The gift certificates should never get discounted using stock features.

Thanks. I will check but we haven't installed any modules that would affect order totals or Gift Certificates that I can think of. We have FAQ module, Worldpay module and Royal Mail Shipping Module, none of those would I think affect Gift Certificates.

For info, it was a module that been installed Price Sensitive Discount module gives discounts even on coupons/ Gift Certifcate etc. Thanks for the help
