Still two coupon problems

After many many problems I finally get the good Order total using coupons but two problems are still there on 1.3.7 :

I made a coupon wich is the exact amount of a product I want to offer, with restrictions to the 2 products I want to offer (wich are the same price.

But if I let TOP category with no restriction, the coupon is available with any order as far as the order is minimum $15.00 (wich is set on the coupon setup).

On the other side, if I set restriction TOP category deny, the I get a strange behaviour, the site says to the customer "Congratulations bla bla bla" but the coupon is not in the checkout total !

The second problem is less weird :

In this case

Sub-Total: $21.80
Discount Coupon: $3.75
FL TAX 7.0%: $1.27
Delivery Area : $1.00
Total: $20.32

I had liked to get the subtotal to show 21.80-3.75 = 18.05 as far as 1.27 is 7% of 18.05. Is it possible ?

P.S. : I think I found a way to circumvent coupons number of use but I have to verify that when everything will be in order.
On checkout, type your coupon code and enter, go back, type REMOVE: Your coupon code will be removed but the price reduction is still in the order total so you have the coupon advantage without over using the number of times a coupon is authorized per user. can somoneone tell me if he can do that on a site where the coupons are working ?

Set the restrictions to:
Top Category Deny
Product 1 Allow
Product 2 Allow

This should make this work correctly for you with the right products ...

That is exactly what I did, but as I explained when I set Top Cat deny and Allow for the two products, the checkout process tells "Congrat..." but the coupon amount is not substracted from the calculation, nor it appears in the final calculation details.

the congratulations are here, but where is the $3.75 less of the coupon ?

I thought it was a problem with the user already having used the coupon, but it is not cause this has been done with a new user.

The problem seems to be more complicated : I removed the "Top Cat deny" restriction from my first coupon, and then it works, but for one user, if the allowed product is NOT in the cart it says "none of your cart products..." and for the other user it says "congratulations...".

More, I made a second coupon following the same logic : same price as the product which have to be free, min order 15.00, restrictions to the product only. And this time I get "congratualtions..." but no coupon amount in the order total.

Farther, if I use my first coupon on an order made for the second, i.e. on an order where the product is not present, it works !!! I get $-3.75 coupon for a $2.50 product....

I'm definitely lost in this coupon logic, I don't understand what's happening and I'm feeling a bit lone here :-)

It would really help to know all the settings that you are using on this Discount Coupon and be able to see the Product that you are using this on ... as in an URL to your site ...

It is hard to reproduce this without all of the information ...

The only difference I noticed in the product details was "show quantity box" on on 310/311 and off on 217.

1 Add the Top Category Deny on the Restictions

2 At this time, the Minimum Order is expecting that the allowed products are to make up that Minimum Order amount ... this is not what you want ...

If you add the Top Level Deny restriction and remove the Minimum 15.00 ... then the Discount Coupon works but you do not have the minimum order setting ... at this time ...
