Certificates priced by attribute always are "out of stock" in cart
For my Gift Certificate item, I have these settings:
Product Priced by Attributes - Yes
In stock - Yes
Date Available - blank
Quantity - 1000
Whenever I choose a price from my drop-down menu of attributes and put a certificate in the cart, I get a "this item is out of stock" message. The gift certificate product doesn't show up as out of stock on the item page, only on the cart page.
I can't figure out why this is happening. Why does the cart think that my $25 gift certificate is out of stock, when the item page knows that the gift certificate itself is in stock?
