Turning all products on with salemaker?

Greetings. Is there a way to select all products in all categories and "turn them on" to Salemaker pricing if selected? I am missing how this works with Salemaker. Thanks.

To change ALL Products in ALL Categories and change ALL prices by the SAME Percentage ... there is an add-on for this by dreamscape that can discount the WHOLE order by XX% on the checkout ...

thanks. i was just wondering if there was a way to get salemaker to work in the traditional sense, mark a category down by x% and turn it on and it works. from what I have read it seems that i need to go into each product in that category and set up the specials as well?? i may be entirely off base on this though, still learning this - tpl's have me bonkers :>

Salemaker wants all products to have the same master_categories_id or you would have to check every category and it gets really clunky ...

How many Products and Categories do you have?

6 sites, all different. One has 30,000, most have around 5000 prods and 10 cats. about 25 categories. One site, they are all first level cats, the others have multiple subcats and lower level cats underneath that. I had salemaker working fine on previous carts, but this seems tied in with specials.

apologies, still learning the master_categories_id number and how to reset, etc.
