pair network?
Does anyone host with pair.com (Pair networks)? I am looking at possibly changing hosts from bluehost.com, and pair networks gets good reviews. When I looked into it further, the plan that I wanted 29.95 does not include ssl, it is $10.00 more per month. Then, I called to see if I could use phplist to send my mailing list to customers. I told them I have about 150 people on my list, and one newsletter or email is sent out every 4-5 weeks. They will not allow any mailing lists to be sent from their sites, and they also ban any type of chat software. They suggest using Mailman for mailing lists, and for the time being it is free for their customers. I looked at this and the documentation is terrible, and it does not seem that you can customize it as much as other mailing programs. So, I would wind up having to pay for a separate mailing program like constant contact or icontact.
I am not sure if it is worth paying more, and having less options. If anyone knows of a really good host let me know. I looked at the hosts that are zen certified, and want to go with more established companies.
