installing on host server

On my hosting server I keep getting the following message:

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../includes/classes/class.base.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /misc/17/211/524/126/4/user/web/markwerkz.com/zen-cart/zc_install/includes/application_top.php on line 29

Is there any way to resolve this? I did not get it on my server which is WindowsXP SP2. using XAMPP.

Is that file actually on the server? Perhaps it was lost or corrupted by your upload?

I got my store installed, but I can not get the admin.php page to come up, I keep getting a time out every time I try to get it to come up, however I can get the index.php page to come up.

Also do we need the .htaccess file?
