Cherry Zen Template Support Thread

MCanes:

Ok, can you tell me what I am missing then? I thought I followed the directions that came with it. Thanks

I'm not sure exactly but read the directions again and double check yourself.

Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread

I played with the padding and css and got it working. No missing files that I can tell.

Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread

Hi Jettrue,

I am working on the header and can't figure out the best way to do some things... :blink:

1) I would like the picture on the left to rotate whenever the page is loaded... *I will have about 6 pictures.
2) I would like the name always centered.
3) I would like to add some images and text to the right side of the header.

Here is what it looks like now: http://www.allk-9.com/test/

Right now the picture and text are all part of the logo.gif

Suggestions?

Thanks.

Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread

I haven't been able to find an answer to this in the Cherry Zen thread so here goes.

I am stuck on a problem with the left sidebar getting pushed over into the right side bar while pushing the right sidebar content further down in my product info page.

here is the link to my site

on this page you can see the left content from the sidebar is in the right sidebar.

Any help would be appreciated.

using Zen Cart 1.3.8 with this theme.

I'm kind of holding off putting my header and other modifications until this problem disappears.

Thanks in advance.

Travis

Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread

I would say your templates/tpl_product_info_display.php is not correct ( maybe due to a corrupt upload)- the clue is

>'; } else { echo ''; } ?>
``` being displayed on the page.  I would be tempted to reupload the file , or if you havent changed too much , re upload the files again.
Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread
HELP!!! My site looks like crap now with the new Foxfire. The search button completely disappeared and the site no longer fills the page.
The trick above is already on my stylesheet so that didn't work.
Please help.
https://www.smockingbooks.com
(The browser broke a few developers' apps too. Why did they mess with a good thing?)
Beth-katherine
P.S. I'm using 1.37 version
Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread
Thanks for the help with the padding on the CSS - crazycucumber. :clap:
Now I have run into a new issue that only occurs in FireFox - not IE. In FireFox there is a small gap between the top bar (with search and login info) and my logo. Why is this happening? I have attached a picture for your reference...
Thanks again!! :D
I have tried this recommendation:
Code:
/ >'; } else { echo ''; } ?> /
being displayed on the page. I would be tempted to reupload the file , or if you havent changed too much , re upload the files again.
I loaded up the original file from the theme and this did nothing at all.
Any other reason causing my template to be out of alignment in the product info page.
Anyone else have any recommendations?
Thank You
Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread
Colin,
I still need help, I do not have a solution for this problem yet.
My product info page i still out of whack. Not sure what to do right now.
I look at my files and i didnt see anything wrong. I tried to overwrite the file with the original and still nothing.
I am far from having this solved if you could still help me out i would appreciate it.
To find out if the template is causing your issue you can simply upload another template then switch to and see if the problem goes away.
Re: Cherry Zen Template Support Thread
I have not tried to uninstall and reinstall the template. I will give that a try and see if it works.
It is definitely the template. using the classic everything works fine and stays in alignment.
the best advice i ever got was to make sure i backup everything before changing anything that way when it doesn't work the way you want it you can go back to the way it was before
Your problem is in includes/templates/cherry_zen/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php
Re-upload the original.
The new firefox does not mess up my test site, it must be due to some changes you made. Try comparing the original stylesheet.css with your current one, and make some changes.
Your problem is in includes/templates/cherry_zen/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php
Re-upload the original.
I re-uploaded the original and it clear up the template so both sidebars and sideboxes are aligned properly.
Now all product info and add to cart/QTY button are all align to the left underneath the product image. I'm assuming this can be cleared up with some css changes.
I will continue you work on it until i figure it out on my own or someone comes up with a fix for me quickly.
Here is where i am at on my site
I fixed the product name heading and got it aligned properly.
I am totally stuck on the add to cart/QTY box it is totally aligned to the left and behind the left column. What is causing this to happen? The css is ok, it seems.
If you can point me in the right direction, i don;t know where to look anymore.
