We are all having the same problem not just those buttons but the change address buttons for both billing and shipping has the same problems. It has browser compatibility problems. Works in IE but not in firefox. I just found out experimenting today, that I can get it to work in firefox if you disable javascript in firefox option settings, the button work, when I re-enable it and it stop working again.

In my website,the Coupon/discount update buttons don't work in both ie and firefox.

But the change address buttons for both billing and shipping have no problem.

I'm trying to figure out how to properly use the Gift Card/Certificate functionality as far as allowing customers to purchase and then utilize.

I followed these Zen Cart instructions to setup a Gift Card product: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=64

I had no problems going through checkout and purchasing the card. The order in the back end shows it correctly, etc.

The issue is that when I release the gift funds to the customer (either by queuing via the back end or auto-releasing it), it doesn't send any code to the customer. It sends an email telling the customer their funds have been released to them, but just links them to the store home. I assume that in most cases, a customer would log in and access some sort of screen where they can email their gift card funds to friends or themselves which would create a gift certificate code; however, because I'm using the no account aspect of FEC, this is an issue.

Has anyone encountered this issue and is there a work around?

I found this has been my issue for some time after uninstalling and re-stalling my template that FEC was driving this issue. No longer have it (FEC is uninstalled), but has anyone had the issue that "Redeem Gift Certificate" is on the homepage title at the top bar, on various other pages, etc. Pretty much most of the pages had Redeem Gift Certificate on them. Any ideas? Love to install this again if I could!

Numinix is planning on releasing a new version tommorrow. Once release try it and see if it fixes your problem.

Can anyone confirm whether they have FEC working on ZenCart 1.3.9 d ?

I'm having a nightmare getting this up an running an will try a fresh build next assuming it should all work.

Yes it does work. There are a couple of little bugs with the change address and gift certificate and promo code buttons. But yes it works.

I use Zen Cart 1.3.9d with FEC 1.8.1.

I recently found the address issue with PayPal.

It seems FEC module passes the shipping address (especially international addresses) in invalid format to PayPal.

This is the error message I get from PayPal.

Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address.

Can you test and advise? Thanks.:smile:

I added the COWOA mod a while ago and it works great! I just added the order status add on, but wasn't sure where the add-on appears. Should a link appear once a customer logs into their account? I haven't seen any changes and wanted to be sure I haven't missed anything. Using version 1.3.8.

When customer confirms an order, they are going to next page and they stay there forever with "Your order is being processed, please wait..."
I 've installed this module on my test site which is not live and there is no other modules. And I uploaded CSS JS Loader.

I just installed the newest version of FEC...and have the same issues with the buttons not doing anything. I'm on Ubuntu & Firefox though.

Rxalex, I found this on Numinix forum - page 7:

"4. Add the following line to tpl_main_page.php:

• Find: Code:

• Replace With: Code:

I did it and it helped a little. Now customer is forwarded to a blank page. I didn't have time to read all posts but I will do it this weekend and I will try to figure out what is wrong. If you have any idea, could you share it, please?

Did you get this fixed? I have a feeling it is a problem with your jscript loader.

I just updated also to check it out. I do have the same issue with the buttons and will post it on Numinix website. I tried on IE8 and Firefox 3.6.4

I was updated my store to 1.3.9d and adding this module to it. I noticed there is a line missing in the includes\classes\order.php. The missing is around line 508.

"$this->notify('NOTIFIY_ORDER_CART_SUBTOTAL_CALCULATE', array('shown_price'=>$shown_price));"

For this module, was this line left out on purpose or is this line suppose to be there?

I forgot to mention that I'm loading fec 1.8.3.

I also noticed another file that don't line with zencart 1.3.9d.

...includes\modules\pages\login\jscript_form_check.php

It looks like this file was changed for zencart 1.3.9d that the fec module does not reflect. Does this file need to be updated for this module or do I just use the jscript_form_check.php that comes with the module?
