Fast and Easy Checkout

I hope someone can help me. I am working on www.test.craftwiseonline.co.uk, using Zen Cart version 1.3.9h. I have installed Easy Sign Up and Log In, together with Fast and Easy Checkout. When I enable One Page Checkout in Admin, when I try to confirm my order as Check/Money Order, I get to the next page (http://test.craftwiseonline.co.uk/index.php?main_page=fec_confirmation&fecaction=process) where the page just hangs with the message "Your order is being processed, please wait...". When I disable One Page Checkout, my order completes successfully. I have tried the fix but it did not work. Can someone please help on how I can fix this error? :frusty:

I would suggest trying this, Uninstall "Easy Sign Up and Log In" & FEC I think it is now built in FEC. Make sure you have downloaded FEC from Numinix website and re-install.

Thanks for this. I have looked at the Easy Sign Up folders, there is no uninstall sql. What is my best option, should I just delete all the files that was in those folders?

The sql file may not make any difference since they should not be called since you remove the module. I would re-install the FEC sql to make sure that code is intact. You will probably get a already installed message.

What do I need to do to make this work?

Sorry, forgot to mention I ran the previous FEC uninstall sql, and uploaded the new version of FEC.

What do I need to do to make this work?

Made sure that the complete sql is installed. Delete the lines in the sql that are duplicated and run again, this will install the lines that were not installed because it hit duplicate in other lines.

OK, just removed that one line and installed the sql, went through fine. Activated 1 page checkout, same issue! Anything else I can try?

You have something installed wrong. Looking at your "Log In" with a check mark in the "Same address shipping/billing" box the Shipping address information should not show. Most errors are files that should be installed in/downstream of "Includes" get installed in "Admin>Includes" or vise versa.

Hi, someone please help! I have now messed up horribly it seems. I have re-installed the Where did you hear about us and Fast and Easy Checkout modules. When I try to sign up (create a new account), I get this error messages:

Please choose a salutation.
Is your first name correct? Our system requires a minimum of 2 characters. Please try again.
Is your last name correct? Our system requires a minimum of 2 characters. Please try again.
Your Street Address must contain a minimum of 5 characters.
Your City must contain a minimum of 2 characters.
Your State must contain a minimum of 2 characters.
Your Postal Code must contain a minimum of 4 characters.
You must select a country from the Countries pull down menu.

I have added all these details, but it seems the system is not recognising any of this. What have I done wrong, and which file must be updated to fix this?

Just an update, I used the Uninstall sql for FEC, and then tried to upload the sql again. Got this error message:

How serious is the last one, 6 statements ignored?

1.3.9h all was working fine until recently. When a customer proceeds to checkout, IE throws a 'Recovered Tab' and wan't to send the error report.

I updated FEC recently and not sure if this is when it started. The error from FireFox is the following if anyone can help?

Site URL can be supplied but temp. turned off FEC for tonight. Could this be a .js problem?

Confirmed... If I totally turn off FEC then everything works but with it on, IE trips out.

This is what she told me "I click paypal and submit order well then it goes to paypal and I click pay now then it goes back to your site will all the same info so I sumbit order and it does it all over again"

The person who was helping me said she had the same trouble like my customer above. She would get into PayPal and then tell it to complete the order and it would be brought right back to my checkout_payment page.

I even tried uploading from last months backup thinking that would help and it still doesn't work.

I seem to have figured it out. I had Express Checkout: Require Confirmed Address set to yes and once I changed it to no I got it to work.

Thanks for the information. I have had 2 customers tell me the same thing out of many that use PayPal, and I also had answered "yes" to the Confirmed Question. So I guess if an email address is "Confirmed" by PayPal it will go through.

Also our store only has PayPal express checkout for payment.
Will this mod work with PayPal express?

My "One Page Checkout" doesnt work properly. It just go to "Your order is being processed, please wait..." page. and never jump to payment page. I use firefox and java enabled. anything I should do besides turn One Page Checkout to true?

I am having a small problem with my fec .. Everything is fine but when it comes to the delivery it refuses to take the 2nd selection and always uses the default
my zen is 1.3.9h fec v 1.9.6
I had a older version on and upgraded but it is still after upgrade
