Won't let me in

Ok, i installed the new 1.3.8 for a testing site while I still run 1.3.7
I successfully installed it...yay for me :clap:

I wanted to restore my current database into the new testing one, so I did that successfully as well.

There was an error message at the top telling me to go into admin and change something, so i put my new admin user name in with my password (which worked before) and ......nothing.....it says i have the wrong admin name and password???????? Now i am locked out of my own test site?

suggestions please?

and as a side note?now I cannot get in to my current running admin either! I wonder if it was the guy in tech support that had me import the database? everything worked fine until he walked me through that.

Ok, i have found half the problem..i am using the same info (email addy) on both, so when i ask for a new password, it will let me have it for my original up and running zen, but i cannot get into my test zen. I am going nuts here........

how do i get into admin now?

I think i know what happened....when the tech guy was walking me through putting my current zen data base into the test site, he had me remove everything that was in the test site database before importing the current database into it......am I screwed now??? did i lose stuff i should not have removed? I am just sitting here now not knowing where to go. :censored:
