Re: Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

gaffettape:

After recently installing TPP I'm forever getting the 'This web page contains content that will not delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire web page.' warning message in IE. I have all images hosted on my server, all with relative paths. However I can't get to the bottom of the issue.

The reason I'm asking on this thread is because this only started appearing after TPP intsall. When I view the page with javascript disabled (for testing purposes) the error message goes away... could their be a definate link within the javascript of this mod somewhere?

Thanks :smile:Try disabling the minify module bundled in and see what happens..

Hi Diva,

Just remembered I didn't install the CSS loader. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Sorry I forgot to post the answer I found - go to includes/templates/you_template/css/tpp/alt_tpp_tab#.css (replace # with your relevant stylesheet number)

got to line 53...
border-bottom: 1px solid;

change or remove as you wish

gaffettape: thank you very much for the information, I changed the css file as you suggested and it worked, cheers!

Re: Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

Does anyone know how to change the 'There are currently no product reviews.' text at the bottom of the (empty) reviews tab? I have tried changing /english.php but that hasn't worked.

Thanks.

Thanks.Try searching for that text string using the developers toolkit, and see what files it shows up in..

Re: Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

Maybe I'm just terrible at successful searching, but can someone point me to the right place to learn how to add additional tabs? For example, I want to add a "shipping info" tab and a some additional tabs with text.

I just downloaded it yesterday and the readme I have consists of this:
This special version is brought to you by RubikIntegration.com. It takes avandtage of our CJ Loader's features to boost performance on your site

For more info:
http://blog.rubikintegration.com/2009/08/08/zencart-css-javascript-loader-released/

Some notes:

  1. Currently TPP is set to be loaded on product_info page only, if you want it to be loaded on other pages please edit in Admin->Configuration->TPP - Config

  2. Currently the stylesheet alt_tpp_tabs1.css is being used, if you want to use another one please edit in Admin->Configuration->TPP - Config

Please note that this module is not coded by RubikIntegration.com, all credits should go to its original author(s).

Note:
If you are upgrading from older version please delete:
includes/templates/DEINTEMPLATE/jscript/jscript_tpp.js
includes/templates/DEINTEMPLATE/css/stylesheet_tpp.css
includes/templates/DEINTEMPLATE/css/stylesheet_wp.css
Not very helpful :(

Re: Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

Please Help!

Hello, Let me start by saying, "I am new with ZC". My site, although not live yet, it is getting close. I'm using 1.3.8a/Server is PHP 5.2.5/Ty Package tracker 2.3a/Tax ID field 1.0/zen_bck button creator.

I have created my own template matching the look of my main website and everything has worked wonderfully. I recently installed TPP 1-06c and I immediately lost my template formatting, and my background has defaulted to white. The tabs feature does not work. I have only loaded 3 items to test, and now their pictures won't display when clicking on the item.

I triple checked my installation against the instructions and confirmed the install in the admin/config panel. I installed the cj_loader_install.sql & TabbedProductsPro.sql files. I also compared all file sizes after the installation.

Can anyone please guide me to what I possibly did wrong? To no avail, I tried removing the tpp.css file to see if there was a conflict. Has TPP bypassed my template?

I am very humbled by ZC and having to ask for assistance. I have a lot of respect for those of you who have been at it for any length of time. Thank you in advance.

Jahan

Thanks again.

Re: Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

Please Help v1.2

Well, I uninstalled all the files except the .sql patches (I don't yet know how to do that), and it appears that my site is back on 2 feet. After poking around and testing, I can't yet find any permanent damage, although it's probably waiting until my confidence recovers until it presents itself!

What an ordeal!

One of the culprits may have been the html_header.php. Before I did a complete uninstall, I removed that file and got back about 75% of the site. Evidently, I didn't get the winmerge/beyond compare "memo" until it was too late! Lesson learned.

Could it have been a css issue? a java issue? I have no clue what happened or why it didn't work. Any help, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Jahan

Thank you, JahanYou've already answered your own question.. You should NEVER install ANY module without comparing the module files to your current site files and merging any changes BEFORE you upload the module..

Re: Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

Diva Vocals,
Thanks for reading my post and replying. Unfortunately, Your answer only poured salt in my wounds. I see i have a problem and I am trying to resolve it. Your post does nothing to help resolve my current software problem.

Telling a child who falls down, "See what happens when....." does nothing constructive and teaches the child nothing. It only serves one's own ego.

** VERY UN-ZEN-LIKE!**

In this case, and in many hundreds more when new users seek assistance with this software in a polite and humble manner, they are responded to in a condescending fashion.

We all must crawl, then walk, before we can run.

If you re-read my post, it clearly states, "Lesson learned." So, if you or any other member has any helpful advice, I am all ears. If you just want to say, "See what you get!", that may be better suited for a teenie-bopper blog.

Although it is harder to be a leader than a detractor, it is much more satisfying.

Sincerely, Jahan
