Tabbed Products Pro (TPP) Contrib - Official Thread

Hi everyone looking for some help here,

ive just installed this on 1.3.9d everything seems to be working as it should .

my problem is when i try to make a custom tab eg "warranty" i followed the tutorial in the doc folder to the T ,

When i reload the page it just goes blank and no info at all shows ," just a blank white page" no product info "nothing"

i have checked the file in Includes/Modules -> tabbed_products_pro.php over and over for mistakes and cant find anything wrong.

has anyone had this problem or does any one know how to solve it, any help would be great.

Sorry if someone has asked this before, but, the module is making my page load really really slow. What should I do?

Apart from that it looks great, works great and adds a lot of functionality and space efficiency to the website. Really appreciate this add on.

Thanks, neither one works which is weird... but 1.06 is much nicer looking. How can I get this sucker to work?

ive already tried 1.5 ,same issues as 1.6

ive also installed multi cross sell today, this will not show on its own tab , works fine in the footer of the site, but not on its own tab,

TTP needs a good looking at

daveGiven the number of folks successfully using this mod, I'd say it's more likely that another module you've installed is not working with TPP.. Best way to run it down is to get your store back to a working state before you installed TPP. Then using a tool like Beyond Compare (or Winmerge) I would do a careful comparison of your store files to the TPP files and after merging any common files try re-installing TPP..

So any ideas on how I can speed it up? I already have CJ Loader, it didn't help much.

The only problem I have is that I don't know much php but enough to get me around. My Add to Cart tab isn't automatically my 1st tab and I don't know where I can check/change this so that it is. I have a custom tab that's not the first time, which is not what I want.

Any help would appreciated!

you'll see the Excerpt Tab is first...which is wrong. Secondly, on the right you'll see called "Author Info". I would like that block to be a tab.

My two cents.... I would in the admin panel uncheck add to cart as a tab, then it will always show below the current tab. I would also go in and make the description a tab. Did you make your custom tab according to the instructions? I do not know how you would make the author info box automatically be a tab, but all I would do is just make another custom tab in the product description and put that info in there...... I hope that helps .....

I kind of like the Add to Cart tab because of the different file formats in the Attributes. Many times people have forgotten to select the format they want. This way they kinda can't miss it.

On the specific link I gave, you can see I added the "Excerpts" tab as you described. The problem with doing it with the Author Info is that this info is automatically populated just like the Description info ect. It would be quite a feat to constantly have to find the author info again and copy and paste it.

Hey what file did you modify to get the attributes above the tpp?
Also what module is your Author info box? Is it manufacturers renamed? maybe you can just call that file in under a custom tab........ But I am a total newb and do not know how to do anything like that ................

I just moved the cart code in the tpl_product_info.php file to just above

I have Combination Discount module. I saw in the old threat that it was said to put the code in the tabbed_products_pro.php file. Where/how/when? LOL

Has anyone managed to get TPP & the new Multi Cross Sell mod working together yet?... By working together I don't just mean installed on the same Zen Cart store, I mean fully integrated so that cross sells have their own tab - like you could with old Just Another Cross Sell mod.

I asked this same question on the Multi Cross Sell thread a while ago but the current author (gilby) says it's not on his to-do list at the moment, which is fair enough.

Well first you might not want to say "dammit help me" for one.. It's a bit off putting..:smile:

Secondly, looking at your site you have a LOT going on on your product info page.. It might help others help you if you give some more information about what other modifications you've made to your product info page which might be conflicting with TPP.. Otherwise all we can do is guess.. Performance problems may not be related directly to this module, and may be related to something else you have which is in conflict with this module.. Like I said, perhaps no one has responded to your post because they simply don't have an answer to give based on the information provided..
