Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

gothstone:

I looked at you site, no IH 2 is not doing anything. Check your includes/functions/html_output.php, I don't think its modified from stock.

BTW IH2 has not been updated since 5/1/2006 . It doesn't have issues because its still in development, rather the oposite. It was rebuilt for 1.3.x, but then never worked on, so there are lots of weird bugs, patches, tricks etc. to get it to work. The origional author hasn't even been on the forum since June.

What??
There are 2 newer versions in the downloads and both of those no longer use html_output.php.
I use version 2.0 v0916 (dated 9/16/06) and the only fix I had to apply was the JS fix.

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

webskipper:

I realize that IH2 is still in development being improved upon all the time.

I cannot for the life of me get any part of IH2 to work anymore.

The JS is in all 3 template folders, the BMZ is the same chmod as the image folder, all parts are where they need to be, the ankle bone is connected to the leg bone, etc.

Would someone please take a look at my site and see if any part of IH2 is working?:onfire:

I have worked long and hard on new images that I did not already watermark just so that IH2 can do it for me. If I have to I will resort to using watermarks the old way.

This is my last step before going 100% live on new years. Thanks!

What version of IH are you using?
As Kiddo ask, did you install IH from the IH admin?
Have you tried to uninstall and then install from IH admin?

I still need help getting the pop up background to be white instead of the same background as my store....

Looks like you are not using IH for your larger images as the file path is:
%%BBCODE_CODE_0%%
Should be something like this:
%%BBCODE_CODE_1%%
Do you have IH set for large images?

Wow, do I feel dumb! I've been looking at the breakmyzencart site, and patching bits together myself! Sorry everyone, ignore my previous post!

Tophand:

Yes. Installed uninstalled installed from admin. The closest I got was seeing the watermark on small and medium images but never the large. Now nothing.

Am I supposed to resize images and put them into the MED LRG folders?

Where did the js exist originally?

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Can anyone help me with my site? I installed IH2 with no problems on my testsite and everything seemed to be working fine so I installed it on my live site.

The hover over doesn't work like it did on my test site and when I try to my page just jumps. My page is now starts about an 1 1/2 down the page.

When I delete IH2, everything goes back to normal

Help!

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I'm using the IH2 137 that someone else other than Tim put up on the downloads page. Why it was not added to the IH already there as an update is beyond me.

Anyway, it still is not working. Is the CSS and the JS supposed to be in only one spot or are there others?

If the Admin test images don't work then what does that tell you?

Where should I go from here?

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Just a quick question. I've installed this mod and it is working as it should as far as I can see.

I was wondering if it is posible to get the popup to show my lrg image instead os my med image, that's all.

Thank you.
I have it installed on this site http://www.pashe.easybeading.com.au till I am sure it works well before I put it on my main site.

Looks like you have the CSS/JS in the correct place.
I would start by uploading each file one at a time and make sure that the file is in the correct place.

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Tophand:

Sure will.

They way I uploaded IH2 was to mirror folders when I did a fresh install of zen 138. Everything is where its supposed to be. I used the classic folder as my template folder.

Take another patient look. The hover effect and watermark works over the New product box, sometimes. If you see a watermark of RC101.com then the water mark is working.

Why doesn't work on any of the 800x 500 jpgs?

Thanks.

Sorry, I can't find 1 image that points to the bmz-cache folder including the new products box images.
So far all the images point to the images folder.

What size(kb) are the 800x500 images?
Very large image files will cause IH to break.

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Top Hand:

I took you advice once more and checked each folder and the ftp window.

I was meticulous. Every IH image was 777 or became 777.

The BMZ_cache folder has a kazillion images inside the recently created folders named 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 then they start over with letters.

There is a .keep file in there as well.

:lamo: So, even clearing the IH cache again via admin didn't do it, I erased all the folders in the BMZ_cache and it works :frusty:

Size is 156kb for a detailed decal image. The rest are lighter.

It all works now. Permission to be sick. :Flush:

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Ok, so part deuce.

Which file do i modify to allow the large watermark to cover the whole image?

There are some images that the watermark is there and can be covered up by a thiefs watermark.

Is it in the JS where to allow a larger watermark_LRG image to be called upon?

That was going to be the next thing to do, delete all the folders in the bmz-cache folder. Could have been a corrupt image or folder.

Glad it is working for you.

Your watermark image for medium images goes in the images/medium folder.
Your watermark image for large images goes in the images/large folder.
You can make the watermark as big as you need it as long it is no bigger then your large product image.

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

That's what I was doing. I finally have a new PNG with size 72 for the large images.

Looks really good on the images that have not been already watermarked by the wholesaler for me. Off to taking new pics.

Thanks!

Look in the stylesheet for a z-index and try increasing the value.

Re: Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

where do I set the sie of the rollover popup.
I created a set of images small 150 x however tall, medium 250 x howeverall and large image 400 xhowever tall in photoshop and uploaded them in the IH2 modual, but the images are still showing smaller and the rollover isnt much bigger than the thumbnail.

Does IH2 resize the image when uploade? Or do I need to set the sm,med,lg image sizes somewhere?

Which leads me to another question, if I want to keep the width of the images the same for each sm,med, large file but allow the height to be whatever it is, how do I achieve this?
