Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I have installed IH@ and I don't have any hover features., no re-size, no watermark, and I can't display more than 1 pic.
I think this isn't working for me.

can anyone recommend a company that can install Zencart for me with lightbox or image handler. I can't spend this much time reading 250 pages of techno lingo.

I dont know what openbase_dir is. I was following all the directions and instructions. Some pages works and some other are not working at all. I will change the status of the image handeler to "enabled" so you can se the live site. Please, can you help me? On the product listing pages that don't work, you didn't answer this before, what are the size of your product images that are trying to be loaded?

The problem is possibly your exceeding the memory_limit set in your PHP settings.

Don't panic though, you can normally change these settings pretty easily.

Everything is fine except the medium images.

I've been using zen since 1.26 and have been using image handler, seo & admin profiles as my zen dream team since 1.3

The medium pics are sizing as the "large images".

A default pic is being picked up small is showing correctly, sub images are correct, listing & featured pics are correct, IH is set to resize the images, no zoom features needed, but the medium pics are the same size as the large pics (on the image handler screen) but zen is forcusing them to be the size I want hence why they are going "jaggy"

Any help or pointing in the right direction would be amazing.

It doesn't look like the medium picture is going through image handler.

The small url is going to the bmz folder but the medium one isn't.... (and it should be) have another site in process 1.38a, same set up and everything is fine with this, so the only thing I can see is one of the image sizes has thrown image handler (I think)

Any ideas on how to resolve this? everything is being picked up via the default image file option on the image handler admin screen

testuser, I did answer, after you told me maybe is about image size I make all the picture 50% smaller, I even erase them all but nothing change. Can you tell me how to change the memory limit in php? Thanks a lot for your kindly help!!!!

I make them 50% smaller with irfanview, the previous image now has 400x600 and is 24 Kb in size. I also clear image cache. As I told you, I also erase all the pictures in that category to see what is happening, but no change at all. I will erase again all the images from that category and clear image cache, delete all in bmz_cache from the server, and I will se what is going on again...

And nothing changed, same problem without any picture files.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

I was stupid stupid stupid!!! I put the pictures in diferent folder/category and some pics were uploaded in diferent folder (/pile was uplodaded in /pensule) and that was the problem!!!! Millllliiiioooons of thanks!!! Maybe someone will learn from my mistake!

Problem.. My additional images are not showing up. Initially I thought this was because of the lightbox, but it seems like it's a problem with IH2 itself. I deleted the lightbox and several additional images wouldn't show up.

The strange thing is, mainly the newer ones don't show up. When I add new additional images to products, they never show up. I have no idea what might've caused this. I did click "clear image cache" once, but that shouldn't delete the new ones I add, right?

I have IH2 installed on v1.38. I am able to get to the IH2 admin page. And the images are in the bmz_cache folder(s). However, when I then view the home page of my site none of the images will appear and I get a blank screen.

I have GD library and imagemagick installed and working on the localhost. Is there a config problem that is keeping IH2 from accessing the necessary files?

On the other hand, when I uploaded the IH2 files to my live server and installed it everything went fine and the site's images renders great.

Well, animated gif images are no longer animated once they become part of my zen cart site. The images are fine when viewed outside the context of my site.

Problem is, I don't know if it's IH2 or zen cart itself, since I never loaded an animated gif until after I installed IH2.

The resizing process ... part of GD and PHP. Don't think PHP's part supports animated gifs yet.

You may be able to try using Image Magick instead of the GD library to resize your images.

Hey IH 2.0 guys,

I searched around 80 pages of post by post and my eyes are aching after 3 hours so I'm sorry if this has been answered already : P

I don't know if this occurs for everyone that visits my web page, Endless Sonata, but when I view the page in Internet Explorer 7, the images on the main page under Monthly specials near the bottom, for some odd reason, decide have the rollover image pop-up near the top of the web page.

Can someone help me fix this or le tme know if it might be a problem with only my IE 7?

Your not alone. I just noticed it in mine as well and I know theres a fix but i can't find it anymore either.
