It was recommended that I utilize this module in order to speed up my site. I read through several of these postings, and to be quite honest, was hesitant about loading the module. HOWEVER the module loaded very easily and everything went smoothly. I like the added features it provides for my site and appreciate not only all the work you put into programming the module, but put into monitoring and responding to the people in this thread.

Loading this module did not speed up my site, but added an effect I was looking for.

I've installed IH2 and its working well and I've put the CSS changes to move the additional images up from the bottom to the top.

But the automatic popup doesn't work on the primary image for some reason.

Also in FF the popup windows don't resize properly which is a bit of pain.

Actually the FF window size is only an issue on my ubuntu install so thats obviously a config problem at my end.

But the primary image not having a image over on it even if I've turned on hot spots on all 3 image sizes is odd

I installed IH a few days ago, and it's been working ok but am having a problem now. It is not displaying additional images. I can upload them and save them in admin but they're not showing on the product page.

It WAS, but now it's not. I checked permissions on the cache & on image folder and they are the same. I'm not sure what else to check?

I got it working. I had to reupload some files to admin, I think they were overwritten by another mod.

What I don't have, and never had, is the image hover. I read the thread about configuring the images for product new, featured product, etc. having to be the same size and I've done that but still no hover.

It's not a huge deal, but it is a nice feature if I could get it to work.

jscript_imagehover.js to your includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/jscript folder

and

style_imagehover.css to your includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/css folder.

It doesn't seem to load properly otherwise.

That got the hover working on my index page, but not anywhere else. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but I am directly linking to the images on my index page.

I checked all the files and they all look like they're now in the correct folders.

I have them all set up the same, but reading that thread I wonder if it has anything to do with "tpl_columnar_display.php" as I'm using that too.

I dunno...I would really like the hover on the product listing page.

Right. I don't mean the the product information page, I mean the product listing page for the category/subcategory pages and featured products, etc. I think that's where it's supposed to show. Odd that the only place it is showing is my index page, which are the medium images.

Have you tried clearing the bmz_cache?
Turn off IH in the Image Handler admin by clicking the link "Remove Image Handler From Database", don't worry you are not deleting any files.
Next click the link to "Clear Image Cache".
Also either ftp or use your server control panel and delete all the sub-folders in bmz_cache folder.
Now back at IH admin, click the link to "Install Image Handler".

On this page I have the hover: index page, except for at the bottom for Featured Products.

But here I don't: subcategory product listing page

The index page category images are not being served by ZC, I'm linking to them. Not sure if that is a clue to why it works with them & not with the others or not. I actually don't want the hover there, I only would want it for the small images in the listings.

HI there I just wanted to know if Image Handler 2 was the right addon for us.

We have 3 images on each product page. All of them show at 100x100px. When you click on them they show at their original size which is 400x400px

What we are looking for is for:

2 images to show at their standard size 100x100px which is happening now.

But the 3rd image we want to show at its original size on the products page which is 400x400px.

Is this possible with Image Handler 2 or should we be looking at some feature in the control panel or even playing with the script.
