Does anybody have an idea why gif animations do not rotate or move? namely when the page in the event of failure!? Maybe something in connection with the permission of the bmz_cache?? Any suggestions?

Gif animations are not supported by the current version of Perl.
So Image Handler does not with gif animations.

I've noticed the same as well ... it's something that has just surfaced.

I have already checked that the JS file is there, it wasn't but is now but it didn't fix the problem.

It's not doing that. I can't get any of the images in the middle of the page to hover and show the large image. :-(

The popup/hover image "Is" the medium sized image.
So the medium size is what you set here Admin--> Config--> Images.
The medium sized image (product display image, the only place where medium is displayed) does not popup/hover. This is in the IH manual.

I don't know if this will fix your problem, but don't put 0 in there, just leave blank.

Seems the more I try and fix it, the more things don't work.

I tried your suggestion and it didn't work, sorry.

Does it make a difference if the product catagories are not displaying until I select one?

You have different image settings.
The "New Products" side box you have 150x150. The center display you have 101x101

Post up your image setting page.
Admin-->Config-->Images

And I already tried that and didn't make any difference.

I went to an earlier post that had all the settings the person was using and both sites are working fine now.

The confusing part is that they don't call the images what they are until you get to the IH settings.

Product image = Medium image??

Main thing is you got me to do more research and finally, at 0600 EST I was able to figure it out. :cool:

The problem is when I go over the picture the pop up images is always on the top left corner on the windows, how to change that, I want the pop up images to be over or around the pictures.

The problem was resolved

crazy how we can't creat new threads for this module - they all get wrapped up in one and it's impossible to search for your issue..

anyway, i just tried uploading some png files and they show fine the admin section but when i go to my site, they show up with an 'x' in them.. so i went to image handler in teh admin section and did a 'preview' and got error messages.. so then i converted the png files to jpg and the site look fine BUT in the admin/image handler section when i do a preview it shows the png files with an 'x' in them (even though i now have no png files on my site).. is there something about png files that image handler does not like?

I'm sure I am just over looking something but i just installed the Image Handler on my site. The problem im having is all my categories and my layout boxes on the right side are gone now just on the index page. When i go to admin and remove IH from database all returns to normal.

I have searched the forums and havent found something relating to this.

Suggestions?
