If something was working then doesn't work its a good chance it was something you did or your host did.

On your reinstall, did you double check that you uploaded all the IH files?
If not, check again and this might be of help

Not necessarily true... I ran into an odd problem. Changing the product page image sizes (width and height) broke my Image Handler in admin. Now when I go to the admin I have no options to edit or add any additional images. That whole right column next to the images is gone! Changing the image size back to the original size did not fix the problem.

How can I resize medium images, the ones that hover?
If I set width of small images to 100 (default) there is no difference between the size of the small image and the hover.
So I have to set width to 80, to show a meaningful effect.
This is too small.
Nothing in Configuration --> Images can help me, been there.
Note: I only set image width, leave height blank, in order to let IH2 do the resizing.
I also have Lightbox.

Try changing only one dimension, leave the other one blank.

I can't see changing image sizes will break IH.

Have you check the IH files that they are correct?
Compare file sizes from the ones on your computer to the ones on your server.
Are they in the correct folders?

I am appending to this thread, although my problem might not be linked to IH2. However, as the problem occurs with the display of larger images, it might be the best place to describe it here.

I am using Image Handler 2 and Fual Slimbox Lightbox.

Evrything worked fine till yesterday. Now, when I click on the 'larger image' subtitle appearing under an image in a product page, a new window opens (full screen) where the larger image is displayed.

The only recent modification I made is that I submitted to Google a Google sitemap (I had never done this previously). Note that this sitemap was generated by a tool mentioned by Google (https://www.auditmypc.com).

Might this problem be linked to the indexing performed by Google base on the sitemap I have provided? If this is the case, is there some way to submit a blank sitemap to Google?

What strikes me is that I encounter the same problem with the copy of my website residing on my local PC. This local version of the website has obvioulsy no link with the Google sitemap (this local site uses the 'standard' sitemap of ZC). This makes me think the problem might be linked to something else, but I really do not know whre to begin to search.

Any ideas will be most that welcome.

Nothing to do with IH.

Have you made any changes/uploaded any files?
You are missing the javascript code for the popup so maybe it was overwritten by fual slimbox?

Check your "tpl_modules_main_product_image.php" file.
Compare it with a fresh copy.

Hi Tophand.

I admit my problem has nothing to do with IH2 (neither with Fual Slimbox). Simply stated, the problem appeared at the level of display of pictures. As I have IH2 and the Fual Slimbox installed, I appended to the IH2 forum.

After analysis, the problem seems to be linked to a corruption of the database brought by another mod (sometimes occur). After restoration of a Backup of the site and of the DB taken just before installtion of this mod, everything works fine again.

Have you searched for this?
Search for "Category is Disabled" & "Product is Disabled" with the quotes.

I fix it!!! Stupid me: it was just the option in
Configuration>Images>IH resize images... it was "no"... so it was easy... once I found it!

Try to check this one too because a lot of people seem to loose this nice effect just because they just play with some options that don't really know [see my case]

Permissions on bmz_cache need to be set to 777 on your server.
That folder has to be writable.

Just got IH and try to upload it. If I follow the instruction that say:
Copy the following directories into your Zen Cart folder.

• admin
• bmz_cache
• images
• includes

My curent admin, images and include will be replaced by this folders.
I don't think this will work. Any advice?

No it will not replace, it will merge those folders. Where there are matching filenames within those folders it will replace the originals, that is what is intended.

We just installed a new template for our ZC 1.3.8. The install did NOT go well. We had to get their tech support (if you can call it that) several times. They told us to run this utility which is supposed to set everything back to default. Wow did it mess things up!

Anyway... we how have a strange issue. When you hover over thumbs in certain areas, like Featured on the sidebar, it doesn't give you a pop-up image. It tries to put the popup image on the same screen at the top, pushing the entire page down about 3 inches.

It does not do this on other templates, including classic and wallet. Where can I change this? It's got to be a simple edit somewhere, but I have no idea which file. And I'm not a programmer, so if anyone knows... plain English please!

I appreciate any help y'all can give.

Does anybody have an idea why gif animations do not rotate or move? namely when the page in the event of failure!? Maybe something in connection with the permission of the bmz_cache?? Any suggestions?
