Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

The "hover over" stopped working on my site (supposed to display a slightly enlarged thumbnail next to the original).

The only other add-on I have installed is apple zen template.

Can someone please take a look and let me know?

You didn't upload all the IH files for the apple zen template.
Missing the stylesheet.

Is it possible to upload 1 additional image for multiple products?

For example, i sell 10 t-shirts which all have the same back, but don't want to upload 10 copies of the back photo with different names for each product. Instead, i want to upload one back photo and apply it to 10 products.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Short answer, no.

But you can call the image when you type in the product description using html.

I see the issue is that ImageHandler won't add canvas in BOTH directions, horizontal and vertical. Am I doing something wrong?

IH doesn't resize up very good.

Also your subcategory images might need be set to same size setting as your small image.
Admin-->Config-->Images

Hadn't directly thought of that - was going to place the additional images in an EZ-Page to make future editing easier as i could be looking at between 20-100 products.

I checked and style_imagehover.css was missing from: /mydomain/includes/templates/apple_zen/css

I uploaded it, but IH (hover function) still doesnt work!

Might copy jscript_imagehover.js to

includes/templates/apple_zen/jscript/jscript_imagehover.js

Thanks, I didn't even have a JSCRIPT folder!!

Created it, copied the JS file... and still doesnt work!!

UPDATE:

I uninstalled IH in the admin.

I then reupload the fileset on FTP.

I resinstalled IH in the admin.

Still same problem!

I switched back from my modified apple zen to Classic Contemporary Green.... hover still doesnt work??

In your first post you said it was working then you changed the template.
Other then that what else changed?
Have you double check that you uploaded all the IH files and they are correct(compare file size) and in the correct folders?
Are you using template override?
If so you need to install the files for each template.
Do you have the hover/popup turned on?

I think they need to include a jscript_imagehover.js in the custom folder as currently its only in the template default folder and you need to have this file installed in the jscript folder in your custom folder if using a custom template.

Most people when they use an FTP program such as myself do this on a per folder basis opening the Image Handler folder and just inserting each file carefully one at a time in the respective folders and i wondered why the image enlargement wasn't working so i had a look at source code on the classic theme after switching template and found the reason was the jscript_imagehover.js file.

So for anyone having the same trouble i did then just go to template_default and get this file and put it in your custom folders jscript folder and if there isn't a custom folder just send the whole folder up and it will work.

I think whoever looks after the contribution should include that file in the custom template jscript folder section for download and not just the template default jscript folder section. ( there is currently no custom template jscript folder and thats the problem )

Question: Has anyone added IH2 and FualSlimbox to images in EZ-pages? I can easily add FualSlimbox to EZ-pages, but need help with adding IH2. I like to use the fancy hover feature!

I've been searching for the code to make this happen with no luck!
